[This may be the first time I've heard John McCain get called the Anti-Christ]
He's not saved, he is the devil's child, so, how can you be sure that he's not just saying he's against it to get the conservitive Christian votes?

McCain is Episcopalian - They condone same sex unions, they ordain openly gay bishops and clergy. And, they are one of the Catholic Churches offspring. What does the Bible say about the Catholic church calling her babies home during the end times?

What does the Bible say about the Catholic church calling her babies home during the end times?

Nothing. The Catholic Church as we know it started in the 4th century.

"how can you be sure that he's not just saying he's against it to get the conservitive Christian votes?"

It's so funny when fundies start to put their inconsistent logics together and realize, even partly, that their whole system is fucked.

Then you should definitely not vote for him. In fact, you should encourage your friends and family not to vote for him.

McCain converted to Baptist quite awhile ago (why, I don't know, since Episcopalians are awesome).

Churchlady is behind the times.

Before vernacular masses came into vogue, Episcopalians were said to be Roman Catholics who were deficient in Latin. And I think ChurchLady is confusing some obscure Bible passage with the song "Won't You Come Home, Bill Bailey?"

I'd make a bet that your church is an offspring of the Catholic church too. And you read the bible that the Catholics created minus a few books.

Actually, the Roman Catholic church started to separate from the Eastern Orthodox church sometime in the 5th to 6th century. And all Protestants, whether they admit it or not, are descended from the Roman Catholic church. Tradition Episcopalians just have more in common with them than other Protestant churches do. However, the Episcopal church encompases a large range of theological beliefs, and most would consider themselves Evangelical rather than Traditional. There is even a large liberal constituancy within the Episcopal church. And no, the Bible says absolutely nothing about the Roman Catholic church, regardless of what idiotic Dispensationalists believe.

Are you starting to catch on to the republic partys scam? 30 years late, but finally?

Yes ChurchLady is right. McCain must be the Anti-Christ.

(hey, if it gets her not to vote for him I'm not going to dispute it:)

Newsflash ChurchLady, YOUR sect, like all Protestant sects, is an offshoot of Catholicism.

Although it's most refreshing to see somebody that thinks McCain is an the antichrist after so many that think Obama is the antichrist.

Well, shame on them! The new Testament clearly commands all believers to join the NRA and vote Republican.

It says nothing because the Catholic Church did not exist as it does now back then.

It dawned on me just now that "the Bible" is no longer a book to them, but a curious talking spectre of some sort.

Remember McCain has the word CAIN in it. So it must be true.

I think this is an example of the fundi vote backfiring.

And, they are one of the Catholic Churches offspring.

Quickie history lesson: The Catholic Church is the "parent" of every single Christian denomination, including yours. Before Martin Luther (a raging anti-Semite) nailed his 99 Theses to the cathedral door, the Catholic Church was the end-all, be-all for Christianity.

A**hole.

'Remember McCain has the word CAIN in it. So it must be true'.

And 'Mc' means 'son of'. How could any fundie vote for a 'Son of Cain'?

Idiot. All Western Christianity is an offspring of Catholicism. There was nothing but Roman Catholicism until the arrival on the scene of Martin Luther. So whatever sect you follow, whatever barn it calls a church, whatever dogmas it uses to hate the rest of the world, originally came from Catholicism, and were transmogrified into your hateful creed by an American Ayatollah. You are damned like the rest of us to uncertainty and death for all your protesting about believing.
