Ok, that whole thread bleeds some of the most reprehensible antisemitism I've seen.
"Hmmmm, well if they want Obama so terribly let him go to Israel and run for the Knesset.
Then they can really benefit from what they like about him so much. "

AS for why Jews don't vote Republican, it's because...
A) We're progressive people, and our tradition is to make the world better. We believe in knowledge, and we don't like blindness, bigotry, and sheeplike behavior. We saw a nation do that kind of thing not too long ago, and it didn't turn out well for us.
And while we appreciate the "Christians" who defend our right to exist, we also know that you're not as charitable as you'd like us to think. We know you don't care much for our initiatives to help the less fortunate in our community, or promote altruism instead of the "All-about my personal wealth" economics that you unquestioningly embrace like a bunch of befuddled robots. We know you want to convert us, and that you believe that our loved ones are burning in hell for not accepting your blood-thirsty maniacal man-god.
No, we don't like you. In fact, the Muslims, these days, are having trouble scaring us more than you guys do. We don't want your support. It comes with a very slimy ulterior motive.
