You say you love the person. Do you love that person enough to respect and honor them? Not if you continue to have sex with her! You only demonstrate that it's YOU that you love. You don't LOVE her, you LUST her!
You've already had sex with her, so you are morally obligated to get married! I don't care if you hate her guts! You must marry since you've already had sex!

Can one love someone and NOT respect and honor them? Of course, respecting and honoring do not always entail agreeing or obeying.
"Not if you continue to have sex with her! You only demonstrate that it's YOU that you love. You don't LOVE her, you LUST her!"
Not necessarily.
Also, a certain amount of lust is required for great sex. Some insist they are entirely driven by love, but I don't think that's true.
"You've already had sex with her, so you are morally obligated to get married! I don't care if you hate her guts! You must marry since you've already had sex!"
So, one should stick with hardline moral codes of centuries past, rather than seek out a good marriage? Good thinking, butthead.
Am I morally obligated to marry my hand and the bottle of hand lotion?
Besides, isnt this proof of how quickly Christianity can ruin peoples lives.
And they say that homosexuals are ruining the sanctity of marriage. And what about freewill? And what about asking Jesus for forgiveness and he HAS to forgive you no matter what? (Unless you say the Holy Ghost is a crock of shit, then you can never be forgiven)

Uh, I'm pretty sure she's enjoying the sex too, ya dumb shithead.
"So does this mean you have to marry everone you've ever had sex with too?"
Nothing controversial here. This is standard fundy Christian belief. Every person you have sex with, you are locked into a transdimensional, eternal relationship with. Pictures of Lilly count too.
You must marry since you've already had sex!
No, you don't! There is no law stating that, just some lunatic religious uneducated morons like you and NOBODY pays attention to your ramblings. Get lost, idiot!
The funniest thing about this is that the person he's responding to has a female avatar and is probably a woman, and a straight one. This idiot's knee-jerk, ingrained reaction to any question about uncontrollable sexual desire is to assume that the asker is a hormone-crazed male, because women of course are too pure to think about, let alone talk about, such a concept.
Christian sexism: not just for women anymore!
Lust, as a verb, is intransitive. You cannot Lust a person. You Lust AFTER a person.
Get your grammar correct and then you might have a chance of bonking her (or him) with some hope of mutual comprehension.
"I don't care if you hate her guts! You must marry since you've already had sex!"
Yes! Show her how much you respect her by trapping her in a loveless marriage and making her miserable for the rest of her life! And it's gays who want to destroy the "sanctity of marriage"?
EDIT: Drat! Reverend Jeremiah beat me to the punch!
I don't need a marriage to prove I am committed to her, and one does not need, as you proved to love their spouse. And one can love another, have sex with them and NOT BE MARRIED.
I can practically hear the subtext behind this: "Get into a loveless relationship and be utterly miserable like ME! How dare you have more sex than me without punishment!"
It saddens me that so many people have been warped by religion that they can't reason, even something as normal as sex. The person noonehome2day is answering is just as warped. There isn't a scrap of common sense between them. They both need a clue by four upside the head.
@G Zimmer: Good point, I didn't notice that.
Here's a thought, what if she WANTS to have sex with me? What is she lusts after me, just like I lust after her? What if, despite that. we are in agreement that marriage is not right for us right now.
Or can you not imagine that women are capable of such thoughts and feelings?
Confused?
