Should Christians abandon the public school system.?
Couldn't Christian Communities do a better job on their own? Don"t you think we could train a generation of young people with admirable morality, and devotion to Christ, with sharp intellects? These could then lead our nation, holding the values of Our Founding Fathers and defeat the adherence to the Three Apostates Darwin, Freud, and Marx.

It's funny - "devotion to Christ" and "sharp intellects" tend to have an inverse correlation.
And btw, our founding fathers were by and large Deists, not Christians.

Because homeschooled christians are famous for their sharp intellects.

It's your right to send your kids to a private school or to homeschool them. Don't complain to me when their scientific and historical knowledge falls to the level of epic fail.

Your founding fathers weren't all devout Christians. As to the blend of sharp intellect and devotion to Christ, I don't see that as a problem.
The problem is more with fundamentalist Christianity and sharp intellect. The two are mutually exclusive.

If you want them to be unemployable (in the real world) then yes. If otherwise, then no. Btw, a strong devotion to Christ and sharp intellect are generally mutually exclusive. (please note I specified generally)

All you fundies should get into Public schools and leave those frigging bibles and scriptures at home. Then maybe you would be truly educated.

But seeing as that won't happen, sure, get the fuck out and let intelligent people continue to be properly educated in public schools.

Better yet, so that you never have to risk corruption from outside, secular forces, why not just wall yourselves off from the rest of the world completely?

I grant them this:

Their literature and art would easily compete, and probably overcome, any challenge by a secular writer. Their problem would be economics, it would be physics, it would be engineering, mathematics, archaeology, architecture, etc., etc.

As a former student in a Catholic school system, I can't think of a better way to create an atheist that to subject a child to a "Christian education".

Taking into accont Christian tendency to burn works of art and literature they find offensive, I wouldn't expect any them to excel those fields either.
