Of course it's not a 'God given right', one of a god's purposes is to act as a tool to control people out of fear of divine retribution. Sin doesn't mean it necessarily harms society, it's just 'wrong' according to your batshit religion which also thinks wearing multiple fabrics and eating lobster is an 'abomination', whereas God can commit genocide and infanticide.

There is no historical support for homosexuality. It is a destructive lifestyle. It is already breaking down the unity of our country.
Homosexuality was actually quite common throughout history, but that's not even necessary, since that's an argument based on tradition. The point is even if homosexuality really were suddenly common only in modern times, there's no evidence it's going to bring down countries or something. Just because it's incompatible with your stupid religion doesn't mean it's wrong, period.
