The presence of such degenerate content is predictable. When a publisher dedicates itself to books that focus on moral relativity and upon removing God from human life, the very foundation of morality and law is eroded, giving way to a perverted permissiveness and a slippery slope towards the very depths of sin and filth. These books are just the tip of the iceberg, a sampling of the perversity and depravity being sold by Prometheus Books.
Take a good look at the books your child is reading for their college level courses. Are any of them published by Prometheus Books? A lot of their books are used in college courses, do YOU know what your child is reading?

Yes I'm sure my Linear Algebra book is going to lead me to sin.
And also, two of my Computer Science books seem to have gay love for each other.
But the rest of this is illogical.
My physics textbooks said something other than "Goddidit," so I promptly dedicated myself to a lifestyle choice of killing, raping, voting Democratic, and everything else that you hate.
Those sorts of books are most likely to be used in classes specifically focusing on the influence pornography has had on our society. Such classes are only offered at maybe 3 or 4 universities in the entire nation, and even then they are electives, NOT required courses.
As to the question in the blog title, I find it telling that most costume shops sell "dirty Catholic schoolgirl," "naughty nun", and "perverted pastor" costumes, but no "sexy scientist" outfits.
If my child is reading college level books then it is my child so it is no concern of yours. Your whole concept is an idiotic joke. If your Bible is printed and bound in the same factory as a porn book does that taint your Bible? Because Amazon has sexual content for sale, does that devalue the Christian items for sale?
Alexander Cornholled probably concluded that they must be full of perversion because he can't understand the words in them.
It is amusingly appropriate, though, for fundies to be denouncing a publishing house named for the guy who stole divine technology (fire) to benefit humanity, thus weakening gods' power over mankind.
The vast, vast, vast majority of people in college are adults.
Are there ANY college students who would care what their parents thought about the books they were using?

More importantly, do you have a clear understanding of what your child is reading? If not, maybe you should keep your mouth shut until you gain that understanding. As my dad would say: "It's better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt."

But Cornswalled makes no sense, even with that question. He would have to unambiguously define 'perverted' first.

This reminds me of a guy in my singles' club who would never shut up about his continuing fight to "get" his children (read control) away from his nasty old ex wife. They were teenagers at the time I joined the club, 35 years ago. He's still going on and on about this today and the "kids" are like 50 or so.
I sure hope the little tykes aren't reading something that will rot their minds.
Of course, almost everyone who attends a Uni is at 18 years old, making them a legal adult in the US.
So whatever your child reads isn't really up to you anymore...
What is perverted? In my mind there is nothing as perverted as killing another human being. Giving way to permissiveness of that is indeed a bad thing.
Children in college? My brother just finished his university studies. He's 29 years old. I don't think mum and dad are that concerned about what he reads any longer. Plus, they have writen a few university books themselves.
