I wouldn't call it 'their' music, but rap / hip-hop / R & B does suck. A LOT. But there's also lots of white people involved, so it's not even accurate anymore to call it black music.

Granted, I don't care for rap and hip-hop, but what about jazz, r&b, the blues (B.B. King fucking ROCKS), and rock & roll? As a matter of fact, I think the only popular American genre of music that blacks didn't invent was country/western. And it sucks.
