"Such a sad world for my teen girls. They both seem firmly rooted in the word, but I have to be honest that I had really hoped we would be raptured before they hit their teen years."

Wow, thats just sad.......
What's to stop you 'rapturing' them your self? Sure you'll go to hell and burn for all eternity, but don't you love your girls? Isn't their eternal happiness worth your sacrifice? Logically that's what you *should* do.
Or, just maybe, you know deep down that there is no heaven, and there will be no rapture.
...I have to be honest that I had really hoped we would be raptured before they hit their teen years.
You weren't, so you need to repent of mocking the Almighty by hoping for something that He didn't have in store for you. Why do you hate God so much?
but I have to be honest that I had really hoped we would be raptured before they hit their teen years
With other words, if getting the chance you would rather choose the cowards way out, than having to face life with its responsibilities and problems.
Er, you have children to carry forward your genes.
Why have kids if you hope they never reach puberty?
Your girls will die a natural death, so will their children and grand children and when they do, some moron on a web forum will still be ranting and telling people the rapture will come real soon now..
Yea, because they might just rush out and marry other girls, and that might make you puke. Better that the world be brought to a horrific end and billions of people be killed, huh?
Why did you bother having children if you didn't want them to grow up?
How long does it take for someone to realize the rapture is never coming? I mean these people live day to day thinking "it could happen tomorrow" but it never does. I want to know at what point does it click and they finally think hey this stuff might be bullshit.
Really, such a sad Universe. I mean, I too wanted everyone on Earth who hasn't yet found Christ to lose any chance to do so and be forced to suffer for all eternity but what do we get instead ?? Loving couples allowed to express their love for each other and equality for all peoples ??? It's wrong, they should all suffer eternal torment so decent, humble folks like me can get taken to a world where I get everything I want the instant I want it.
I'll tell you something else too, barring accident or life threatening disease they will live to a ripe old age.
Ya know, I think the average life span for women in the U.S. is around 80 years I believe.
Rapture aint happenin'

The answer is "never". They've been expecting the rapture any day now for nearly 2,000 years, and they still don't get it ain't gonna happen.
Hypothesis: Assuming this crazy-ass Rapture malarkey does have some basis in reality, what if Jesus is just waiting for the moment when absolutely everyone has their guard down to spring the Super Final Boss Battle of Christianity on us? If that's true, then constantly looking for the Rapture in the toot of every car horn is actively putting Jesus off. Now he's never gonna yoink you all up into Heaven. Good job, dipshit.
Ceiling Cat forbid they should grow old enough to develop a personality and think for themselves. No, you'd rather they died instead.
Yeesh. This is why I think there ought to be mandatory sterilization at birth, and if one wants children later in life, you must first pass a series of stringent tests to prove your a decent human being, in order to reverse the procedure and obtain a breeding license.
@cool cats

80.97 years. If you want to get it up to the EU average of 82.0 you'll have to get a decent healthcare system first. ;-)
Confused?
