Just for completeness: the triangular slave trade was dominated by such countries as England and France, which had *no Jews* during the XVIIIth century (for example, Louis XVI only allowed a small German Jewish community to settle in Paris and Strasbourg, and they were the first Jews in France since Louis IX expelled them five hundred years later). So it's a bit far-fetched to blame slavery on them.

The trans-atlantic slave trade was founded jointly by christians and muslims. And was subsequently dominated by christians.
Jews were not even minor players. One sultan hired some jewish mercenarys to guard his trading posts in africa. But even that was unusual.
Usualy the mercenarys were christian as well.
