The very concept of an 'anti-discrimination law' is so far outside the concept of American jurisprudence you have to ask what is it about America that liberals hate?

In a society where sanity prevails, anti-discrimination laws are not even necessary.
Thanks to the Brat Prince of Bush and his regime of dangling parasites, discrimination has become the social-manipulation tool of choice.
American liberals don't hate America, dipshit. We discriminate, admittedly...against ignorant blathering assholes who think they have the juice to run the country.
Hmmm... freedoms guaranteed to everyone by the Constitution, when denied to a minotirty by the majority, have always been defended - eventually! - by the federal and supreme courts.
How is that outside jurisprudence?
It'd mean there'd be no more stupid attempts to make a social group illegal.
Oh, sorry, still thinking with my usual australian mentality. Isnt it funny that spellcheck doesn't recognise australia as a word?
^^ Brian, you have made this law student smile. :)
As to the OP, what is so horrible about preventing certain social groups from being shut out of the political and economic process?
"...what is it about America that liberals hate?"
Well, probably overfed, badly dressed, big mouthed, ill mannered, narrow minded, greed-ridden, tacky, war mongering, overzealous, superstitious, racist and homophobic, sexist assholes, BUT..
That aside, I love my country.
it's because laws in "civilised" countries try to protect people from bigotry and hatred. You see hate-speech can lead to hate-crime. And hate-crime puts everyone in the "hated" category and risk and in fear.
but why the fuck am I even trying? Were you to read this you wouldn't believe it!!
Discrimination.
Next question.
What are you saying? That it's so ingrained in the American soul to discriminate, that the very concept of NOT discriminating is hateful towards Americans? I sincerely hope you're not saying that.
I think the Liberals hate discrimination.
Confused?
