What the fuck. Seriously.

African Americans like Martin Luther King Jr, Thurgood Marshall, Malcom X...
10/26/2008 6:38:30 PM
Yeah, sure they had nothing to do with it. They were just, you know, powerful speakers/authors/etc. who, at the very least, had a big hand in changing the way discrimination is viewed by the government, right? How unimportant.
10/26/2008 6:43:27 PM
That's because you've never seen a real American before.
10/26/2008 6:46:06 PM
what? She's not scary at all!
Michelle Obama looks like the typical neighbourhood mother who always hosts the kick-ass block parties.
10/26/2008 6:50:48 PM
Waaahhhh, I want my dead white men back!
10/26/2008 6:54:19 PM
Not fundie. Not nice either.
10/26/2008 6:59:40 PM
Everything on the rapture ready site is fundie.
10/26/2008 7:02:33 PM
Thinly veiled racism.
10/26/2008 7:04:40 PM
Shes scary? HELLO Palin!
10/26/2008 7:08:17 PM
What the heck is "Gov't"?
10/26/2008 7:08:30 PM
Shes scary? HELLO Palin!
From the UK I can second that. That batshit insane, corrupt, lying and incompetent woman shouldn't be allowed to run a childrens' party, let alone have the codes to nukes.
10/26/2008 7:13:20 PM
Michelle Obama is quite nice. I met her. HA!.... (sorry, please indulge me. I don't get to say that enough.)
And I second solomongrundy and IanC...
10/26/2008 7:13:53 PM
Michelle Obama is smart, articulate and would be a wonderful role model for many people. Sarah Palin...now SHE's scary!
10/26/2008 7:23:38 PM
RSTDT. And Palin's not fit to look in Michelle Obama's general direction.
10/26/2008 7:26:31 PM
Well we wouldn't want to learn about and African American individuals in history would we?
I don't know what a Gov't teacher is. I'm assuming history or civics.
10/26/2008 9:12:18 PM
Allegory for Jesus
I'm sure that that experience made your very flesh burn with untold amounts of agony. Black people...important...? Brrrrrrr...a cold chill...
10/26/2008 9:12:27 PM
If you weren't a bigoted closet racist ignoramus you'd think Sarah Palin is fucking scary.
10/26/2008 9:13:29 PM
a mind far far away
There's nothing scary about Michelle Obama. This is more RSTDT than FSTDT. Now, to those remarks about Palin: sure she's dumb, dimwitted, and not fit to be V.P., but, DAMN she's hot (I don't think I can say that enough). Oh, and BTW, DAMN all those evil Public Schools for making fundies learn about blacks.
10/26/2008 9:28:18 PM
Gov't teacher....when I was in high school, in Michigan, we had a class called US Government, which was a semester long class. Taught us about how the government works (constitution, checks and balances, etc) I don't recall a lot of the class nearly 30 years later (meaning what exactly was taught in it). It was just one of those things you had to take to graduate. Probably has a different name now.
10/26/2008 9:39:27 PM
I call shenanigans on this post.
10/26/2008 9:55:27 PM
She would be scary to most of the RR crowd: an African American, a female, and a Princeton graduate with a law degree from Harvard. Makes it kind of tough for a white male tenth grade dropout to hold up his head and act proud while driving a fork lift at the WalMart Warehouse ...
10/26/2008 10:01:29 PM
[sarcasm]Yeah..those silly negroes need to learn their place. [/sarcasm]
10/26/2008 10:16:36 PM
Let me guess, those individuals were people like Martin Luther King jr and Malcolm X, right? 'cause, seriously, if you don't understand why they might be relevant to a government course, you're beyond help.
Normally I'm not one to pull the race card, but these people can barely conceal their prejudice. Hell, they're openly racist against Arabs (or at least Muslims, most of whom are Arab), and they use that hatred as a cover for their issues with blacks. It's like they think that calling Obama a Muslim will somehow justify their racism. Sickening.
10/26/2008 10:31:54 PM
Darth Vader... For Freedom
Not fundy. I give it a "1." On RSTDT, I might have given it had a higher rating, but without the broader context, it's hard to tell if this is even racist, let alone fundy.
