I think Christie Leonard is telling a gay man what she thinks of him.
"I do believe you are caring, compassionate man."
She thinks he is a caring, compassionate man.
"Likely one who dwells with women in understanding."
She thinks he is with women when it comes to understanding. She probably tries to say he understands things as well as women do and implies men do not understand things so well.
Or maybe she thinks he lives with women who understand him too much?
Or it could be she thinks he spends way too much time understanding or trying to understand things.. um.. with women?
It could also be that when he hangs around or lives with women there are never fights between him and them.
"So I, as a woman, am asking you to intercede for us as a man."
She is asking for him to represent women in a dispute with.. um.. other women? ...men? ...God? ...anybody?
"Be reconciled to God and man."
She thinks he should become compatible with men and God.
Or perhaps he should help women become compatible with men and God?
"You have joined a tribe of male hunters and thus set yourself up to be an adversary of men."
He's hunting with men and they do not like the competition.
Or maybe he is hunting men.. in a tribe.. perhaps full of women?
'Maybe ... you were born different from the men that came before you, but "when the purpose of something is not known, abuse is inevitable."'
She thinks homosexuality is a new, unknown thing and all unknown things attract abuse and nothing can be done to stop it.
"God made YOU on purpose and being wasted on another man's lust is not it. That's not all there is. There's gotta be more to life."
She thinks having sex is a waste of time. Instead he should do something else, anything.
Or maybe she is trying to tell him she is feeling horny for him, but it's obviously pretty hopeless.
Or maybe she is trying to recruit him to her side in a war against men?
