"I got two daughters---a nine years old, and a six years old. I'm gonna teach them first of all about values and morals, BUT...if they make a mistake, I don't won't them punished with a baby." ~Obama
So if his own daughters were 'mistakes', then he would have had them killed. Not to mention Obama have no regards for grandchildren. Values and morals, he says.... Watch the vid. It's only three minutes and fifty two seconds long...and worth watching.

Wishes to allow his daughters to abort unwanted pregnancies =/= no regards for grandchildren.
Apparently, Xiao-Feng-Fury here thinks that if one fetus is aborted, a girl can never ever get pregnant again.
Oh. It's that infamous self-hating lesbian again...
...or wait, wasn't her epic journey of how she became straight eventually debunked?
Of course he has regard for grandchildren. He just wants to plan their existence carefully to avoid having douchebags for fathers.
A wise and loving decision. If only God could make those.
And if only the admins could... There's no religious element to this quote, so I don't believe it's fundy.
Yes, if his wife had decided it was not time to have children, those girls might not exist. In place would be two other children, that, thanks to her full-term wanted pregnancies, never knew existence.
If things were different, then things would be different.
"I'll teach my babe that despite what the attacker had done, it is always good to forgive. Justice will be served. The Lord will avenge. I'll tell my babe why life is precious, tell him/her about the Lord, and I'll tell him why circumstances should never get in the way of an innocent life in the making. I love children, and one of these God blessing days, I'll be married and have a child of my own."
I've heard goofy talk like this before, from naive sheltered virgins. Talk is cheap.
That isn't the point of his argument. The point is women should have a choice, and should not be punished for the rest of their lives. Parents have kids who weren't planned all the time, but that's because they CHOSE to. You get where I'm going with this? Does the term "pro-choice" make sense now?
I love how often this comment is repeated as if it were objectively evil and indicative of some horrible point of view on the part of Obama. Here's a little tip for future reference of those who decide to present this quote in that manner: "punished with a baby" means that forcing them to bear the child is used as a form of punishment, not that bearing a child is inherently a form of punishment ( for example, when people actually set out with intention to have one!). His comment is correct. You shouldn't punish them for a moment of indiscretion by leaving them with no option but to bring the child to term, without the means of providing for it, let alone themselves. You shouldn't disregard the life of the already living for the sake of unthinking cell clusters. That is not morals. That is not values. That is unflinching dogmatism.

He wouldn't have had them killed--he would've just left it up to their mother whether she wanted them or not, and seen her to the clinic if she didn't, so that she could have a safe and healthy abortion rather than be punished with having a baby neither wanted forced upon her.
Also:
TRUFAX: Just because you have one abortion doesn't mean you're going to abort them all, or that you can never ever get pregnant again. The first time my mother conceived, she had an abortion (the fetus was diseased and was going to kill her if she kept it). Second time, she carried my big brother to term, third time, me.
From the UK, I'm only really recently coming to understand how focused on freedom the ethos of America seems to be. I know that's flying in the face of the evidence a bit, but at least whet your government passes some outrageously privacy-breaching law, there's an outcry, and often said law is repealed. And you've got that cool Constitution thing to back you up.
So it puzzles me why the people who, perhaps in the whole world, are most likely to espouse individual freedom up to the point of owning and firing assault weapons, should go so against this in the case of forcing people to have their lives fucked up.
On the other hand, I like Obama a little more now. Not that I didn't before, but it's nice to see a sensible man for once. I just hope he actually does what he's espousing, if he gets elected.

We like our own individual freedom. Other people's individual freedom is expendable. Just consider that our most "pro-freedom" politicians are the most rabidly anti-freedom when the freedom of people who aren't just like them becomes an issue.

I told him that marching them into the Magma Fields was a bad idea.
Confused?
