Atheists think they're superior to non-atheists (mostly) because they think they have a superior ability to use logic.
No, I don't, and nor do my atheist friends. You're the ones who believe you're superior.
Well thing is that you only see things for what they are, a primitive way of realizing conciseness.
Okay, let's examine this using an example.
I see Lord of the Rings as a story written by J. R. R. Tolkein. That is the truth.
One can see Lord of the Rings as having a higher meaning and which can give ultimate knowledge of the future. This is not true.
I see a flower as an organism. This is true.
One can see a flower as dirt that rearranged itself to make us feel better. This is not true.
One can only see a thing for what it is. Nothing can be seen for what it is not without those who are doing the seeing being stupid.
You say we see things for what they are. That means you, controversially, see things for what they are not. Who, in this case, is more intelligent?
Science is like religion in a way too, thinking up theories that make no sense at first and setting out to prove them.
The second part of your sentence disproves the notion that science can be a religion. Religions are fundamentally faith-based; therefore, proving it means it can no longer be a religion.
