Actually, Rev Maxi has a point. The question should be restated: Christians: How do you explain the fact that most atheists behave MORE morally than you do?

Yes. Now answer the question, please.

ROFLMAO! Of course, put a christian on the spot, and you'll never get a straight answer. You get bullshit like this. I wonder if he cried while he typed that 'answer'. He probably spent a good bit of time in some really hardcore prayer after this, seeing as how his faith was challenged and all.

The answer to number one is yes, the same atheists who believe that homsexuality is acceptable. The answer to number two is no, most atheists love their parents, just like most Christians.

The problem is that these fundies have defined religiosity and morality as being synonymous; thus, they feels that anyone who believes the same as they do is automatically moral and anyone who believes differently is automatically immoral. So we can't win this fight yet.

The same atheists who run around killing everyone they see because without belief in a deity life has no value?
Point proven. Rev Maxi is a moron.

Yes, most of us believe homosexuality is acceptable. No, we do not hate a non-existent entity. And your answer to the question is ...

Moral behavior is the default setting for sane people.
I reject the notion that hating homosexuality is a prerequisite for morality.
I can't hate what I don't believe in.

Funnily enough, your glib response ignores Christians that don't believe that being homosexual is such a horrible thing.

Guys like this one really make a bad name for their religion...
Also, another asshole in the same place:
"There are good people in Hell, if that is what you are asking"
They really want us to beleive in that kind of God?

There is no lack of morality in hating (not that I do) something that doesn't exist. In fact it would be silly to hate nothing. Besides, I really am not the hating kind.

How can someone hate something they don't believe in? Seriously, fundies should do some research before making stupid statements. Then again to fundies research is teh ebil.

The question is wrong anyway, its obvious where MORE moral from the answer as where not bigoted pricks.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Here we go again with that tired line about atheists hating God. We don't hate God, we just understand that God is imaginary. We may hate the effects belief in God has on our culture, but we can't hate a being who doesn't exist.

Considering you believe everyone who doesn't believe exactly what you do should be condemned to hell for all eternity and every atheist I know believes they should be allowed to believe what they like...
Yes, I would say we are just as moral, if not more so.

So your answer is "I can't give you an answer because I'm just another small minded fundie choad who hates everything that isn't white, straight, and undereducated just like me."
Is that what you meant to type, ass?

"the same atheists that believe homosexuality is acceptable?"
Yes the same atheists who believe that a private act between two consenting adults which affects no one else in any way is acceptable. I'd say this is an example of atheists being more moral than (some) christians. What really is immoral is trying to legislate against a harmless private act which affects you in no way whatsoever simply because your particular book of myths says it's wrong.
"the same atheists who hate their creator?"
Like many fundies you seem to have trouble understanding what an atheist is we cannot hate your particular god because we don't believe he exists. If you actually believed that God existed but feigned disbelief simply because you hated that particular god then you would not be an atheist.
