Hey you Atheist idiiots...if God and Satan are not real...?
Who do you think possesed Emily Rose? Dumbasses. Atheism is the Satan's way of seduction into evil. Have fun burning in purgatory.

You don't "burn" in purgatory...you pray a lot and get purified before getting into heaven.

At least get the mythology right.

That movie is based on an event in which both the exorcists and the woman's parents were convicted of negligent homicide. Even the Catholic Church has backpedaled. Way to choose a spectacularly bad example there, champ.

At least you could have tried the Exorcist since it was based on a "true" story(though unlike Emily Rose, it apparently takes place in two different cities in two different counties in Maryland). And I have my doubts about it being demonic, and in Emily Rose, there was more than one demon. So it wouldn't have been Satan. And how is it Satan's way of seducing into evil? And purgatory is not hell, it is closer to what the Greeks had in Hades. Dumbass.

Yawn: Another fundie with poor grammar skills who thinks ad hominem attacks prove a point.

I was raised Catholic and studied its dogma extensively when I was evaluating my faith. You don't burn in Purgatory; not unless "fire" is the only means you can possibly imagine to purify yourself. My mother swore if she ended up in Purgatory she'd spend centuries matching socks for the archangels.

And are Fundies allowed to believe in Purgatory? I thought they condemned it because it was Catholic in origin.

"Who do you think possesed Emily Rose?"

The same one I think possesses anyone else.

"Have fun burning in purgatory."

Purgatory is a Catholic invention. It's not part of hell, nor is it scripturally supported.

Emily Rose was never possessed. She was mentally ill and died as a result of the "exorcism."

1. That's not her real name

2. She was mentally ill, you ding-ding walnut head.

You do realize that Emily Rose is a fictional character, right? While, yes, her character is based on Anneliese Michel, the fact that you do not know her real name suggests to me that this belief of yours that she was really possesed comes entirely from seeing the horror movie. Which is insanely pathetic.

Go watch Requiem, the non-Hollywoodized version of Anneliese Michel's case. Then we'll talk.

The person Emily Rose is/was based upon was probably mentally ill or epileptic.

And you don't burn in purgatory, dipshit.

Wait. What?

There is no Emily Rose. There was an Ann-something whose parents were convicted of homicide for their "exorcism".

Holy shit, that's the perfect argument. I'm convinced. Let's all go join the death cult before something bad happens to us. Hey moron, Emily Rose wasn't possessed, if it happened at all, it was a mental condition. One that should have been checked out by a doctor, maybe then she wouldn't have died.

Wasn't the person in the movie a fictional character based on a highly embellished story?
