My father was not religious but he would not let me watch anything with sex in it as a kid. As a kid I was taught the diffrence between reality and fiction and I knew I couldn't fight like Xena.

No, athies boycott films because the films are stupid, anti-intellectual, promote ignorance, push a religious agenda/or just plain suck. The only movie I can think of that "enforces and celebrates the love of Jesus" is "Passion of the Christ", and while I applaud the efforts made at historical accuracy (Aramaic is a beautiful language, folks!), I certainly would NOT take a child to see that movie. Hell, my (hypothetical) child could be 60, and I'd still want to shield her from that disgusting display of torture!porn.
Somehow, two women kissing is *worse* than watching a man beaten nearly to death? I don't get it.
