(Concerning the doll who allegedly says "Islam is the Light")
This doll is just one more thing to chip away at Christianity!
Let’s face it, the Muslims are taking over! Christians cannot express anything anymore without being charged, yet Muslims can do, say and dress Anyway that they like!
I’m a Christian and will fight to the end against these false preachers!

Other then that:
"Christians cannot express anything anymore without being charged"
Lie.
"yet Muslims can do, say and dress Anyway that they like"
Lie.

Can someone please post the pie chart?
Noone prevents you from making a doll that says:
"Jesus is the light"
Considering the fact that christian fundamentalists make up a considerable market, I wouldn´t even wonder if such things (or at least similar things) are already on the market en masse ;)
This BS was posted in response to a column debunking the lie, spread by looney-tunefundies, about a baby doll that supposedly says "Islam is the light" and "Satan is king." Doesn't matter how many times someone explains the truth to them, these people insist on wallowing in their delusions. What a waste of oxygen!
It took me 30 seconds to find:
"Blessed Toys is a division of one2believe, an established Christian company whose goal is to provide parents a new way to introduce the Bible and its lessons to their children. Currently, there are 7 Messengers of Faith dolls. Dolls include: Jesus, Mary, David, Moses, Esther, Peter and Paul. These Messenger dolls recite recorded Scriptures at the push of a button. Parents and Christian educators can use these Messenger dolls with their children to introduce Bible stories, one character at a time."
And don't forget:
Alphabet Alley
Touch of Heaven
Christian Books
(Cue the "Help, we're being oppressed" graphic)
This doll is just one more thing to chip away at Christianity!
If a babbling doll is so harmful to your faith, it speaks volumes about how strong your faith is.
Let’s face it, the Muslims are taking over!
Why yes, just today, walking down the street, I ran into a whole...let's see...by golly, I didn't run into a single one. Not that it would have mattered, anyways, because they are just PEOPLE. Heavens forbid someone has a different faith than you.
Christians cannot express anything anymore without being charged...
Erm...when you wrap bile and vitriol in a thin layer of religion, it doesn't make it okay. Talk about Jesus, talk about God, but do not use them as a means to harm someone or a group. Then, by golly, the "persecution" will clear right up.
...yet Muslims can do, say and dress Anyway that they like!
NOES! People dress funny! In broad daylight! Surely they are persecuting you by being different.
I’m a Christian and will fight to the end against these false preachers!
Funny. I bet they say the same about you.
"I’m a Christian and will fight to the end against these false preachers!"
So now these dolls are preachers? And false ones to boot!
I guess that would be an easy mistake to make if you are used to having preachers mouth half-baked gibberish at the pull of a string every Sunday!
You know, I saw Jesus' face in my Subway sandwich bread just now.
He told me to tell you to stop drinking the damn Kool-Aid.
True story: If you take William Shatner's recording of "Mr. Tambourine Man", slow it down and play it backwards on echo, you can hear, "I am Your Master, SUBMIT!"
Hey! Why are you guys making fun of me?
Christians cannot express anything anymore without being charged
Ummmm...
Have you been charged with something yet? I mean, you just made a comment, an expression with christian content, so you must have been charged with some crime, right?
Of all the things Muslims can do to further their 'evil plans', they're re-programming children's dolls?
Weak sauce. You clearly have them on the ropes.
I distinctly remember the sister of an old friend having a bear that, when you pressed in its paw, would sing "Jesus loves me, this I know, for the bible tells me so."
I don't remember anyone getting pissed off about that particular toy.
Funny how the people who want to whittle away at the separation of church and state are the same people who whine about how the Muslims are taking over. If Muslims become a majority, I highly doubt that any of these Christian fundies will want to live in a country without this same separation they claim to hate so much.
@scubajesus
I know. Esther in with Jesus, Mary, David, Moses, Peter and Paul? Hey, if fundies actually made sense, this website wouldn't exist.
Oh, FFS. Has your religion ever caused you to be injured, tortured, jailed, left without employment or denied property? No? Then shut the fuck up, you're not being persecuted.
Beware, Talking Tina is watching you...and she will KILLL YOOOUUUU.
(For anyone who did not get that, it was a Twilight Zone episode.)
"Muslims can do, say and dress Anyway that they like!"
I thought that was the whole point of you being the "freest nation on the planet" (TM).
I just read an article about a guy being harassed by airline security for wearing a T shirt with an Arabic slogan that had the English translation underneath. Because nobody can trust those filthy Arabs that what they say their weird scribbling means actually is what it means, apparently.
And yet among all the examples that they can't, Christians scream "Muslims can say anything they want!" A Christian's idea of persecution is that now there are actual consequences for his being a bigoted doucherocket.
"I’m a Christian and will fight to the end against these false preachers!"
Go right ahead. I love to watch bullshit artists try to out-bullshit each other. It's very entertaining. It's even more fun when it gets violent. Didn't Jebus say, "Fight thy neighbor," or some such thing?
You can dress however you want. If you want to go to school in a cassok and surplus, wearing a wooden cross, go right ahead. If the teacher says you can't, plead the 1st amendment.
Actually, if you produced a doll that said "God is always with us" and sold it labeled as such that would be a non-issue in the marketplace. In fact, Ive seen a prayer doll advertised that recites the lords prayer
So you're complaining about another religion is just that. Which makes you a traitor to the American constitution. Get out
First, that's not what the doll says. Second, you can fight false preachers all you want, but I don't see the logic in fighting against yourself and your ilk. Third, Muslims are not taking over. Fourth, christianity has enough of it's own to chip away at itself, it doesn't need any outside help. It's pitiful enough as it is.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
