[On a thread discussing why another fundie is going to stop buying Apple products due to their support for gay marriage]

Think about their logo. It glorifies sin entering into the world (IMHO).

@ToE the line

"I hope none of you fundtards use Windows on your PCs - because that beast Bill Gates is an atheist you know."

I'd bet the £185 I have in my wallet that yeshuasavedme, indeed most of Ruptured Retards, are using Windows, created by said Atheist. They'd better download an .ISO of a distro. of Linux, format their HDs and install that instead. Oh yeah, that's right - Linux inventor Linus Torvalds is an Atheist too. So in terms of PC OS's that's you lot fucked then.

Short of RR creating their own unique OS; oh but of course, said (C)Rapture could happen any time so they don't exactly have time between praying & waiting, waiting & praying ad nauseam (but they have time enough to fart about on RR? Oh, the irony!).

PROTIP: Apple CEO Steve Jobs is an Atheist too. So, short of creating said Christian Computer Company - as suggested by Table Rock - you lot on Ruptured Retards are completely fucked (and don't forget, the digital computer's development ultimately into the home computers we have today is all down to Alan Turing: a homosexual.).

Clicking on the quote link, it says 'Invalid quote specified'. Methinks those on Ruptured Retards don't want to be called out on their hypocrisy, re. use of computers whose OSs were created by Atheists, or the fact the development of such ultimately makes what they use gay, and therefore RR itself being gay); but of course the fact they continue to use such, posting their BS via Atheist created OSs - on a medium, the WWW, invented by Tim Berners-Lee, a Unitarian Universalist (and therefore not a True Christian™ like them), thus exposing their hypocrisy; so the thread was deleted. Therefore this is the current location of yeshuasavedme, Buzzardnuts, Mr(Wo)Mannn & everyone on Ruptured Retards:

"I completely understand that you're afraid of the fruit of knowledge.

See what I did there?"

Alan Turing certainly does. And is greatly amused.

Have you heard the one about an apple a day keeping the doctor away?

Isn't one of the discoverers of the Internet a gay person?
GET OFF THE INTERNET RIGHT NOW, what-ever-the-hell-your-stupid-name-is.

I don't believe in sin, I believe in either hurting your fellow human beings, or refraining from hurting your fellow human beings.
I'd prefer the latter, btw...

And the fucking grocery stores. They sell apples in a huge pile! Damn them! I will not go into any supermarkets no more. They're evil!

Dr. Shrinker

The bible does not identify the fruit of the tree of knowledge. It could have been an apricot, a mango or a banana. You would know that if you had actually read your bible.

Dang, I seem to be repeating that last line a lot.

WRONG! It symbolises the death of Alan Turing (I think; correct me if I'm wrong). He committed suicide by eating a poison-laced apple. The Apple logo is a representation of that apple.

Yes, that's exactly what it means. Also, the Windows logo looks like a stained glass window--like the kind in Catholic churches. You'd better avoid Microsoft produces lest you accidentally commit papistry.

Unfortunately, you're still not off the hook yet. You COULD use Linux, but Linux is free and open-source--many distros are free to download and install. This is because Linus Torvalds, the founder of Open Source, is a European socialist, an anarchist, and an outspoken atheist, so every time you use a PC with any version of Linux installed, you're directly contributing to socialism and atheism.

There's a few other OSs you could use. But...you're STILL not off the hook. You can't use FreeBSD, because of this:

For obvious reasons, that's out.

I guess you could use Solaris or Unix, but both of them were developed in southern California, a traditional atheist liberal hotbed. You're still giving support to the wrong sort of people every time you use them. There's some oddballs floating around, too, but most of them are basically someone's hobby project, aren't supported any longer, or are sufficiently obscure that hardware and software compatibility are going to be real problems.

I suppose you'd better get to coding, then. You'll need to write an OS specifically for Rapture-believing Christians to use safely, so I'll leave you to that.

Biblically correct computing, for the lose.

Isn't it general consensus among theologians that the forbidden fruit was probably a fig?

Anyway, the bite in the apple logo was so that people wouldn't mistake it for a tomato. No, seriously.

No, Apple's label refers to a fruit that has an inedible center and comes in many colors.

Crimson Lizard

I have an apple tree in my yard. Does that mean I'm evil?
