"Ignorance is bliss": not the best philosophy for educating someone. And you may prefer to keep your child's innocence, but IT'S NOT YOUR CHOICE once they hit puberty. It is just sexual repression, and you are intentionally messing them up just for the sake of your own sense of comfort. That is just plained f$%#ed up. I agree that children should be allowed to be children, but once they hit middle school, they're on the threshold of enterring into the transition period leading up to the cusp of adulthood. And they will start having sex at any point during that time. If they are not prepared, or if they are forced to not to do so by you, then disaster is bound to happen.
Oh, and any problems in the gay community are ultimately your fault. Just sayin'...

I would like to point out, from experience, and research, that the meth problem is predominantly a WHITE problem, specifically with white people who live under the poverty level. Drug use is so rampant, that it's insane to blame any aspect of it on the 'gay community'. This persons way of thinking is the product of being closeted from reality for most of their life, that they have no idea what is actually going on.

There's an enormous meth problem in the truck driving community and the general redneck community as a whole. Just to clue you in, most fruits I've met or fooled around with prefer hallucinigens (acid, microdot, shrooms, pot, etc.) to meth.
