Are you kidding me? There is physical evidence that events in the bible actually happened that prove god's existence.

Newsflash: There is virtually no evidence, geological, archeological, or otherwise, that proves anything in the Bible.
On the contrary, much of the existing evidence disproves the stories in the Bible.
Sorry, you lose.
Hahahahahahahaha!!!!
Uh, no.
We're waiting for this physical evidence.
And no, the fact that we're spinning around a small star on a wet rock is not proof of any god.
Logic fail. Sure, there's going to be some historical events talked about in the bible that archaeology can prove actually happened. But this is not proof of god's existence, just that the writers got a historical event right.
A few things, like Solomon's Temple, have been proven to actually exist. However, the existence of Solomon's Temple does not prove YHWH's existence any more than the surviving pagan temples in Rome prove the existence of the gods in the Roman pantheon.
The Garden of Eden has not been found.
Noah's Ark has not been found.
The Tower of Babel has not been found, despite the commonly-held belief that Babel = Babylon = modern Baghdad. You'd think a tower that tall would have left some traces behind!
Evidence for the existence of Job has not been found.
Evidence of a ten-foot giant like Goliath has not been found.
It's called FAITH. If you want to believe all that stuff happened, fine. But don't expect everyone else to share that belief, and don't make up evidence where there is none.
@Redneck Bimbo Governor
Your nick says it all. Is your RL name Sarah Palin? Throwing your toys out of your pram because you & the fossil weren't elected? You'd get on famously with a certain Troy Brooks here:

And here:

That meeting would be fun. Imagine the verbal eye-clawing that'd ensue?! Who'd be the fundier fundy? Kinda like the fundy equivalent of 'Robot Wars':
'3... 2... 1... ARGUE!'
@Anon-e-moose
Seriously, HOW ON EARTH did you manage to mix up the author and the submitter THIS time? There's a massive gap between them! It's like, the Grand Canyon of FSTDT. Not to mention that Redneck Bimbo Governer is a frequent commentor on this site. How people continue to make this mistake is mind-boggling to me.
Physical evidence = proof God exists
God = belief based on faith
proof = faith not necessary
therefore proof god exists = god must not exist
Admit it, it's at least as rational as any theist's argument.

Not true! There is plenty of historical evidence that the Bablyonian Exile of the Judeans under Nebbuchadnezzar actually took place.
The rest of it, though ...
well, the Communist Manifesto contains predictions and ideas that are true:
Oppressed Workers: Check
Huge, Capitalistic Society: Check
Worker Revolutions: Check
so, do you expect all of the modern world to suddenly implode to form a Communist society?
Hrrrmm...you know whats funny? Out of all the civilizations that existed around Noah's time, not one happened to document this "global flood" bullshit. Guess it wasn't so "global", was it?
And lets put aside the geological events that have never been proven...have you realized, dude, that no such evidence of JEEBUS has ever been uncovered? Like, seriously...Christians need to get on that like now. Forget proving the flood, plagues, Sodom & Gomorrah, all that horseshit, you guys need to focus on proving Jesus himself.
Ot's not entirely his fault he believes this. He's been force fed it since childhood
What evidence we ask? All of it, they say. Such as? Everything.
I've been through conversations like this that give me nothing but vague gainsaying answers. There is true brainwashing in that: they have total proof so they don't need to know specifics or share them. The word of the Bible is truth
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
