well, most of these women/girls that are becoming pregnant should consider what happens next after getting laid....you get a baby. No child should die because of a careless mother or by a careless man...or in this example, a rapist. Why is that the rapist isn't chased down and done away with? He's the criminal, not the child.

My point is that there IS a point if a mother gave her life for her child instead. It's a gift of Love in it's most honorable manner; and that's the gift of Life.

In case of children because of rape:
So you want to punish the victim of the rape for getting raped (by forcing her to carry the child and care for it, probably destroying the whole childhood of the rape victim, if the rape happened in young years). Well, as punishment for victims of rape (within a city) is part of the bible, this probably isn´t something unexpected to come from a fundamentalist.
You even reward the rapist with getting the rape victim to carry the child, as the rapist genes will go to the next generation.

There might be nothing more beautiful than someone willingly giving up his life for another (if he/she deserves it). But there is nothing more horrible than if someone is forced to give up his life for another ;)
