And the Bohr model of the atom is evil because it promotes nuclear proliferation.
Yawn.

Huh. Darwin was a dick.
Oh well. Has nothing to do with evolution. Darwin's dead now anyway.

I think before any fundy christian posts anything stupid on the internet ever again, they should be forced to come here and read fundy posts about what they are planning on typing about. That way they can see just how stupid they are, and hopefully refrain from posting anymore stupid comments, and hopefully see how wrong they are. If not, then they should just DIAF.

Oh shit, you just know that when a fundie selectively misquotes anything then they are beyond reason. Shame that it's parson has probably forbidden it to read any Darwin otherwise it might find just how wrongit is in it's misquoting.

He starts with erecting a strawman. A plucky move from this giant amongst armchair creationists.
A little bit of quote mining...
And then straight for the Godwin! :)

Darwin isn't saying we should do it, he's predicting that it will happen.
Also, I like that your Hitler quote was taken from Creation Magazine. Regular contributor was he?

Yes, Hitler believed in evolution SO much, he banned Darwin's texts.

And where does it say that Darwin approved of this? He saw that stupid assholes like, oh, the devoutly Christian colonial masters of Africa and Asia would embark upon wholesale slaughter, and indeed were doing so in his time. Nowhere does it say that he liked it. If you actually read Darwin's work, as opposed to gleefully passing around quotes yanked from context, you'd see that he was far more sympathetic to other cultures and races than your average Victorian – far, far, far more than your "holy" progenitors.

Hitler was a dick, and also Christian, and Darwin didn't believe we SHOULD exterminate anybody, he just thought that "savage races" were inferior to white people and would go extinct naturally.
Just about everybody was racist back then by our standards, if not everybody. It's not a huge shock that Darwin had some racist ideas, and it doesn't prove that his scientific theories were wrong. A scientist doesn't have to be right about absolutely everything, or necessarily be a stellar person in order to have their theories be valid. Gallieo was an arrogant bastard. But he was right about the fact that the sun doesn't orbit the earth.

So Darwin was a dick. Even if he was, that doesn't make evolution wrong.

Again, hitler used the Bible as justification too, and the catholic church supported the Nazis in WWII. Just because the facts aren't pretty doesn't mean you get to ignore them.

A prediction is not an endorsement. If a political scientist says something like "Obama will win," he is not necessarily an Obama supporter, he's saying that the evidence leads him to believe that Obama will win. The Darwin quote doesn't say that he's taking it as his mission to exterminate people. The Darwin quote says that his evidence shows it happening, but doesn't seem to give his opinion on it one way or the other.
Reading comprehension, motherfucker: do you have it?

Darwin was making a prediction, not a suggestion. And that has nothing to with evolution anyway.
So how is that any different to all the fundies predicting mass persecutions? does that mean they all condone them?

Except that Darwin wasn't saying it was right - just that it would probably happen. If I say millions will be exterminated by AIDS, that's not the same thing as saying millions should be exterminated by AIDS.
