[President-elect Obama is the impetus for the Rapture kick-off!]
I just don't get this world. How are people so happy that this man is winning??!!! Do people hate babies that much. Do people hate God that much? This doesn't look very good right now. I don't even know how to pray for this one. I don't want to pray against Gods will. Maybe His will is to get this program rolling.

I don't hate God, babies or anyone really. I don't even hate you people at RR (although you are frightening sometimes),hating anyone or anything doesn't get anything done.
We are happy because hopefully the country will go in a new direction for everyone, yes, everyone, even all you at RR.
I don't even know how to pray for this one.
Our Father, Who art in heaven, forgive me for being such a nimrod. Amen.
McCain said: "that one"
homefirst sez: "this one"
Oh, that one, this one
Let's call the whole thing off..
I just don't get this world.
That much is obvious.
Do people hate God that much?
No matter who is the president, you get to believe in whatever god you wish. Don't you understand that? Of course not; you're an idiot.
(And why doesn't HTML work anymore here?)
Maybe His will is to get this program rolling.
Yeah, because it's not like your god is omnipotent so he NEEDS 60 million Americans to get it going! That is some god you got there!
I don't get these guys. Weren't they talking just a little while ago about how Obama might be the Antichrist or at the very least play a role in bringing about the rapture? Shouldn't they be happy about this? They spend half their time fantasizing about the day they'll finally meet Jesus while all of us godless sinners burn in a lake of fire.
Cognitive dissonance is alive and well at Rapture Retards.
Do people hate babies that much. Do people hate God that much?
No, they just don't like George Bush and his clone, John McCain, that much.
Do people hate babies that much. Do people hate God that much?
Take a few deep breaths, and realize that not everything that happens in this world has to do with you or your "god".
Damnit! They have me pegged! I hate God and babies and The Star Spangled Banner! I hate them all so much that I am personally pro-life, have a child of my own, follow a theistic religion and love my country.
I don't even know how to pray for this one.
I'm gonna go with "Forgive her, Lord, she knows not what she says..."
What happened to all that "elected officials are chosen by God" crap you idiots were spouting during the Bush years? Obama was elected, therefore, according to your idiot Bible, he has been chosen by God to lead the U.S. Now sit down and shut up.
How are people so happy that this man is winning??!!!
One of the reasons surely was, that the alternative would have meant, that a christian fundamentalist becomes vice president ;)
Yes, people hate babies. In fact, every weekend we have secret 'stamp up and down on the baby' parties. Then we all drink the blood of virgins (kinda like Catholics) and bow down in front of statues of Obama. Then we have gay orgies, and cast voodoo spells at you. Because, yeah, that's how the world works.
Maybe people are happy because the Republicans fucked things up so badly over the last 8 years and people are glad to see them out.
And yay for confusing pro-choice with pro-abortion yet again.
I don't like abortion, I think it's a terrible sad thing and I wish unwanted pregnancies just didn't happen in the first place, but they do and I think abortion is less bad then forcing women to carry and give birth to unwanted children, who may well suffer emotional difficulties because they know they were not wanted. All children should be born to mothers that want them and have the wherewithal and desire to take care of them. If a child is not wanted and cannot be cared for it should not be born, because it everybody involved will probably end up suffering.
Not to mention forcing women to go through with pregnancies that put their health at risk. That's terrible, and abortion causes far less suffering.
First two comments on this thread = win.
To homefirst:
IT IS GOD'S WILL THAT B. HUSSEIN OBAMA TAKE OFFICE. IT IS ALL PART OF GOD'S PLAN TO BRING ABOUT THE RAPTURE (1 KINGS 7: 23).
See, I can speak RR! I wrote in all caps, referred to Obama by his middle name, and threw in a Bible quote for good measure! Now support our God-elected president!
(If anyone's wondering, 1 Kings 7: 23 is the passage that implies that pi = 3. ;) I just throw that into comments that seem like they need Biblical citations.)
Yes, as a matter of fact, I hate babies.
GW Bush must also hate babies because despite being the most powerful man in the country, he hasn't done anything to stop abortion.
^^^
Well, he certainly didn't have much time for Babylonian babies:
Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones. Psalms 137:9
Yes! People who love God should vote for a party that supports shooting at His creation from a helicopter!
Honestly, though- McCain wasn't that bad. The thought of Palin being Vice President was just too much. If the best thing you can say about yourself is that you're a "hockey mom," then you're a bad choice for Vice President.
No I hate Bush and the idiots like you at Rapture Ready that put him there to wreck our country. And some Christians might think that God decided this election his way to rebuild honor, respect, charity, tolerance, freedom, and faith(in place of the greed, self-righteousness, arrogance, deception, bigotry, and corruption of the last eight years) in this country.
I love babies. They're delicious.
EDIT: ... oh, silly me for thinking I was the first one to think of this joke.
/I just don't get this world. How are people so happy that this man is winning??!!!/
I voted for him, does that count? I want my country to stop being the laughingstock of the world, does that count? I don't want an elderly panderer to the evangelicals and a brainless, fundie nutjob in the White House, does that count? I want the U.S. to fully live up to its ideals again, does that count?
/Do people hate babies that much./
I don't hate babies. I just believe that women should not be forced to deliver babies that they don't want and they cannot afford to raise. Fetuses are aborted, not babies. Besides, what about all those babies who are left for adoption? What about all those babies killed in Iraq and Afghanistan? You know, those babies who have been actually born, who have been killed by insurgents or air strikes? But of course, they're not American or white, so they don't count. Hypocrite.
/Do people hate God that much?/
I'm Christian. FAIL.
What a loon.
Confused?
