Yeah, except that if it's a coincidence, it's not scary at all.
And 44 - 2 that was the number of candidates, is 42, according to "The hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy", the meaning of everything!
You know what? EVERY number has some sort of similar meaning in "Bible numbers".
But you know what 44 really means. 4 x 11, which is 411, which is 5 away from 911, the date that we were originally attacked. This means that we will be getting another terrorist attack on the fifth month of next year, May. OMG! Joe Biden is a prophet!
Hebews had letters assigned to numbers or vice versa. 39 means hopeless and morning dew. While not really a play on words in hebrew, 40 tends to mean beyond hopeless or an unknowable or unimportant amount of time.

So you'd have to freak out regardless of who won, right? It's not as if we'd skip 44 and go onto 45 if McCain won.
