I can't help but wonder if this idiot knows what the words "vainglorious" and "demagogue" mean, or if he heard someone else use the big words and thought it would make him sound smarter.

OO clever aren't we?
Congratulations, America! You have just elected a vainglorious demagogue to be the 44th President of the United States!
Not really, except that all politicians are vainglorious demagogues to some degree.
A vainglorious demagogue whose experience you can pack into a thimble and still have room left for your thumb!
Perhaps that is why he chose an very experienced and respected running mate. McCain on the other hand, what was he thinking?
A vainglorious demagogue whose policies will bankrupt the grandchildren of the college-age voters who have pledged their blind devotion to him!
Who was in power when the economic crisis developed and hit? Who is spending trillions on an illegal war?
A vainglorious demagogue who has no respect for our values and traditions to the point where he will not allow his children to celebrate Christmas!
Citation Required
A vainglorious demagogue who has all but promised to trash the Constitution – the document he calls “flawed” - that he will now swear to preserve, protect and defend!
Citation Required, If it was not flawed, then it wouldn't need an amending formula.
A vainglorious demagogue who will bring our troops home in defeat and disgrace, and allow his new Best Friends Forever in Iran and Syria to plunge the Middle East into bloodshed!
As opposed to the vainglorious demagogue who sent the troops there in the first place to secure American access to oil at the cost of so many lives and seriously damaged the American reputation in the Middle East.

No, that was George Bush.
"A vainglorious demagogue who will bring our troops home in defeat and disgrace alive instead of in a body bag for sticking their noses in somebody else's civil war.

You got the number, the prior government job wrong, and it's Saudi Arabia, not Iran and Syria who's ass he licks, but everything else is right on for George W. Bush.

A vainglorious demagogue whose experience you can pack into a thimble and still have room left for your thumb!
As opposed to you guys who had a hard on for a woman to come into power who not only had LESS experience than he, but shrouded in controversy I, for one, did not feel was fit for someone who was a 77-year old's heart away from being put into power of the country of one of our biggest trading partners.
A vainglorious demagogue whose policies will bankrupt the grandchildren of the college-age voters who have pledged their blind devotion to him!
You talk about blind devotion...you guys never questioned Bush. Not once. Not when he marched into a needless war...not when the body count continued to climb...not when allegations...and proof of OUR troops torturing prisoners of war arose...hell, you guys more often than not APPLAUDED him. And you have the nerve to speak of blind devotion.
A vainglorious demagogue whose idea of leadership was to go-along-to-get-along, and vote “present” 130 times during his 15 minutes in the Illinois State Senate!
Pardon?
A vainglorious demagogue who has already demonstrated that he will stifle and ruin anyone who dares to ask hard question or oppose him!
Citation? Or is it just the fact that truths were pointed out about his opponents?
A vainglorious demagogue who proved his decency, character and honor by defiling the reputation of the woman who raised him in order to defend the heinous excuse of a human being he called his “spiritual mentor”!
PARDON?!
A vainglorious demagogue who deceived and outright lied time and time again about his past and his associations!
Yes, you speak of his secret Muslim-ness, and the fact that he knew a terrorist, right? Jesus knew a murderer, you know...
A vainglorious demagogue who has no respect for our values and traditions to the point where he will not allow his children to celebrate Christmas!
You have proof here? You seem to be kinda swinging in the dark, now...
A vainglorious demagogue who has all but promised to trash the Constitution – the document he calls “flawed” - that he will now swear to preserve, protect and defend!
What the fuck are you talking about?
A vainglorious demagogue who will bring our troops home in defeat and disgrace, and allow his new Best Friends Forever in Iran and Syria to plunge the Middle East into bloodshed!
NEWSFLASH! They are already a disgrace in the eyes of the world. They were marched out there under fallacious information, and are dying in a war they had no reason to be fighting in the first place.
A vainglorious demagogue Americans will soon regret giving the keys of the kingdom to!
Well considering the past regime, we had to fish around in the toilet a while, but I seriously doubt that there will be any regrets.

Proof for this please. Coming from Obama himself, not Fox noise or some other BS.
and allow his new Best Friends Forever in Iran and Syria to plunge the Middle East into bloodshed!
Bush did a really good job with the "plunge the Middle East into bloodshed" part.

Amazing how many of these could go to George W Bush!

This joker reminds me of a few classmates of mine. One of them claimed that the only reason that people voted for Obama was because he could speak well. Another (who was a McCain supporter) claimed that when she saw him giving one of his speeches, he reminded her of a demagogue.
I understand the concern about silver-tongued politicians. Of course there's the risk that eloquent politicans might use their gift of speech to their own advantage at the expense of their country. But on the other side, so WHAT? He's a good speaker, shouldn't that be seen as a GOOD thing? He has the ability to inspire hope in people, isn't that a good thing (even if it's false hope)? You'd rather have Bush, who mispronounces words more times than people can count, or Sarah Palin, who makes a fool out of herself every time she opens her mouth?
As a matter of fact, if Obama employs his gifts as a speaker correctly, he may be able to persuade Congress to get key legislation passed, legislation that we so desperately need. Again, the flip side is if he uses his gift irresponsibly, but at least he's intelligent and articulate. At least when he speaks, you know that he knows what the heck he's talking about, most of the time.
GigaGuess for the win.

Not saying I agreed with the person, but his arguments were sane and rational.

Yep and Demagogue means Nig**r
Unfortunately the idiot doesn't realize he just called Obama a self-important leader of the common people. Which, yeah I guess he is.
