I’d be cool with a system where single women can’t vote, and married men get 2 votes, one for himself and one for his wife.

This isn't exactly fundy. Psychotic, yes, completely undemocratic, yes, but not really fundy.
What about a pair of married lesbians? But I guess you're against gay marriage because under your system a gay (male-male) couple would have 4 votes between them! And they probably would not vote for who you consider to be the "right" candidate.
No, lets just stick with the one person, one vote system? It's much simpler.
Quit bitching that crap isn't fundie, people. I'm about to find where all you live, and shit on your lawns.
It may not be religious fundie, but it's plenty fundie.

Hear, hear.

What about the jigaboos, the wops, the kikes, the micks, and the beaners?
I'd be cool with a system where stupid people like you are treated like the erring children you wish adult women were treated as. At least if you're preoccupied with trying to pass second grade for the sixth time, you won't be claiming two votes you aren't entitled to.
@solomongrundy: Come now, you know they think "free" only applies if you're a straight, white, Christian male.
Feel free to move to Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Afghanistan and other countries that treat women like walking incubators, and don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.
I'd be cool with a system where the average Free Republic poster lost his vote to the person who actually supports him, like his parents.PS No I wouldn't, they have to be pretty shitty parents to raise the spoiled, unworldly brats I read on that site.
Yeah, and I'd be cool with a system where misogynistic pigs who call themselves men are locked up and displayed in zoo cages as the primitive animals that they are. But we can't have everything, can we?
Lucretius: nice Terry Pratchet allusion. Let me try one:
Ther ought to be Logic Sucking fairy. There ought to be! *Glingleglingleglingle*
Fairy apears from thin air. "Hello. My name is Fundien and I'm logic sucking fairy. Now give me your brains, MWAHAHAHA!!!!!

Further, while there may not be implicit mention of God in it, such behavior is, more often than not, rooted in fundamentalist ideology, so it's not unreasonable for this to be posted here.
(And is it wrong that I find such an image somewhat amusing? :p)

Of course you would! It's always to speak of rights so flippantly when you're not the one losing them.
I'd be fine with a system where misogynistic fucks like Truthsearcher get run over by a cement mixer.
We need a "misogynists say the darndest things" section for these non-explicitly religious misogynistic fucks.
@Lucretius: that system works great, as long as the man with the vote is named Lord Vetinari. Because Lord Vetinari is all the badass in the world coalesced into one body.
If that was fair then it'd be equally fair to instead have a system where single men are disenfranchised and wives get to vote twice.
So I guess you'd be cool with that too, right TS?

In Switzerland, it took until 1990 to grant women full voting rights in all swiss states. The old men of one of the most rural and conservative states of Switzerland blocked stubbornly any suffrage there, and they had to be forced by the swiss supreme court, which decided correctly that denying women the right to vote is deeply unconstitutional.
In 1990, after this decision, the majority of the swiss population took a deep breath of relief. The general consensus was: "Finally! We aren't the fool of Europe anymore."
And thats what you are, "Truthsearcher". You are a fool, and your "proposal" is ridiculously pathetic.
I'd say that it's often the other way around. Quite a few men that I know don't read up on the different parties (we have seven parties, eight with the racists), but most women I know have read up and know what to vote. The guys ask their wives/partners: "what should I vote for?".
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
