Ashamed before God
It is my belief that any Christian that voted for Obama should be ashamed before God.
Why?
Well there are a lot of non Christian things that go on in this country that if God asked us we could say that we do not agree with them, but there was not much we could do about it.
Do you realize that we as Christians had a good chance at stopping the baby killing!
If God asked why we would vote for someone who wants to continue this killing when there was another candidate that wanted to stop it, what could you give as an excuse?
I think when some of these Christians who voted for Obama realize what they have done, like Judas they will have to deal with the guilt.
My two cents—

The abortion rate reached a low under Clinton. It rose again under Dumbya. What is your excuse for voting for him?
Is God in control or not? If McCain had been elected, you guys would be braying from the rooftops that God was responsible. If God is in control, then Obama was elected in accordance with His will. Get over it. If Obama was not elected in accordance with God's will (and assuming He exists)...well, that's a pretty lame God you got there, can't even influence the outcome of one little election!
Why do they think if Roe v Wade is overturned abortions will stop. Women will go else where to have it done. Which causes another whole set of problems that have to be dealt with.
If they would only stop to think of the big picture, but they won't they are RR.
We are rapture ready, blah blah blah blah blah. We are a religious site blah blah blah blah blah. You are going to hell because you didn't vote Republican blah blah blah blah. You fuckers at RR have a lot of damn gall to say you are religious. Your whole damn message of late has been nothing but GOD is the GOP. It is a disgrace to say you are Christian website when it has become obvious to any outsider many of you are nothing other than Republican plants trying propagandize the rubes.

Are worth just that.
The christians that voted for Obama were probably thinking about jesus' commands to love everyone, and to help the poor, and to befriend those you might disagree with, and to accept those who you think might not be close to god, etc. These are much more important, those christians who voted for Obama thought, than what two consenting adults do in privacy, or what a woman might want to do with her own body. They were concerned with the things jesus was concerned about. Maybe you should be too, dumbfuck.

Single policy voting is no way to pick a candidate?
Were there any candidates at all that stood a chance of being elected promising to put an end to abortion?
"Do you realize that we as Christians had a good chance at stopping the baby killing! "
Just how many republicans have gotten elected promising this to morons like you? how many have done anything but lip service to this goal? Exactly. The moment they ban it they cant campaign with it anymore.
WTF!
"I think when some of these Christians who voted for Obama realize what they have done, like Judas they will have to deal with the guilt. "
Is he really suggesting suicide is an appropriate response to voting for Obama?
Feel the Christian love.
You want to lower the abortion rate, try teaching kids about birth control. Abstinence only programs to nothing to lower teenage pregnancy rates, as is amply evident after eight years of Bush White House policies.
"Do you realize that we as Christians had a good chance at stopping the baby killing!"
How? Please explain. Bush has been in office for eight years now and he's a conservative Republican fundamentalist's wet dream yet he hasn't stopped the "baby killing" yet.
"If God asked why we would vote for someone who wants to continue this killing when there was another candidate that wanted to stop it, what could you give as an excuse?"
I'd tell him (though why I should have to explain myself to an omniscient entity is beyond me) that Obama wasn't senile, in the dark, clueless and creeping up on the average life expectancy for U.S. males.
How's that?
"I think when some of these Christians who voted for Obama realize what they have done, like Judas they will have to deal with the guilt."
You guys should have all voted for Obama then also. Just think of all that extra guilt that you could carry around. I'm sure it would exacerbate your persecution complex wonderfully just knowing that your invisible friend is mightily pissed off with you for not voting for McCain.
"...I think when some of these Christians who voted for Obama realize what they have done, like Judas they will have to deal with the guilt."
Oh noes! They'll have to commit suicide by hanging themselves (Matthew 27:5) AND simultaneously die by falling head first on some rocks and rupturing (Acts 1:18). But, with God, all things are possible ... even impossible, contradictory things. Glory!

God wouldn't be stupid enough to ask the question. Unlike Goodboy, He knows that the President can't reverse a Supreme Court decision, no matter how much he may disagree with it. Bush wanted to stop it but didn't. So did Reagan. What makes Goodboy think McCain would? Besides, the Bible doesn't show any indication that God cares one way or the other about abortion. This is just a fundie voicing his own opinions and pretending God agrees with them.
Methinks the fundie has neglected the verses of the Bible in which God is decidedly NOT pro-life in any sense of the term.
If I ever feel guilty at all for voting for Obama, it will be if he fails to bring us out of the cesspool that Bush drags us into. I won't feel guilty about allowing women to terminate fetuses that they don't want and cannot care for. If I were you, I'd feel more guilty about the hundreds of Iraqi babies who are killed by enemy insurgents or U.S. soldiers.
You know what? McCain wouldn't have overturned Roe v Wade either. Because the President does not have that power. You're getting butthurt at the wrong office.
and if you haven't *noticed,* none of the administrations have managed to overturn Roe v Wade. It's doubtful that they ever will. It's just a carrot the Republicans dangle in front of the religious right every four years, and you morons always fall for it.
Hey boy( I dont know if you are good or not); Why dont you try to remember that Judas was only doing what He was told to do by the leader he was loyal to. His "guilt" was in the sorrow he felt for doing such to someone he cared deeply for,but as all true followers do for any leader, they blindly obey, usually regretting so after all is said and done.( read as "most Americans under G.W.Bush).
End of rant and line.
I'm a Christian who believes the Bible and I voted for Obama because I don't see how a man who wanted to continue a war to kill civilians for 100 years, thinks joking about people dying is funny (bomb bomb bomb Iran and more), who ran what is tantamount to a joke campaign, betrayed his own political views to appeal to the base, and so much else can be the right choice. Additionally I'm not sure where I see pro-life views in the Bible, so it's a moot point. Furthermore, Bush ran on the moral platform 8 years ago and that did us so well. >_>
If I said this on RR i'd be banned in three seconds. Well, it never hurts to vent
cheers
I'm sorry, I see "Goodboy" and think "Battlefield Earth". I can't take this guy seriously.
That, and the fact that he's a parroting fuckwit.
Confused?
