At least I have hope that the millions of children in the world dying and starving will eventually be happy, and cease suffering... In the atheistic world, children will die and suffer endlessly as long as the Earth is still here. Thats a heck of a lot more depressing than the children eventually getting to be happy and experience joy and love, instead of hunger and disease.

Now, I know this might be blasphemy, but do you think it might be a better idea to work to end hunger and disease while the children are still alive , instead of arguing about why it's a good idea to let them die?
How, exactly, will the suffer endlessly after they die?
And yes, it's nice to think that they'd have a joy filled life after death, but unfortunatly, that's not how it works.
OK Let me break it down for you simply: Just because you want something to be true, does NOT, you following this, repeat does NOT make it true. Us free thinking individuals would like to study and learn about food production so that millions of children might not need to suffer one day. By your logic we should genocide them all... real nice asshat.
So,
starving life followed by eternal hellfire is better than
starving life (with the possibility of real-life cessation to that suffering), followed by, at worst, young death and eternal nothing...
I'm going to be serious for a moment, because I have an idea that might actually get through to this fundie.
What if they were to pay for food and improvement tools to be taken to the children by a Christian charity? Then not only would the children suffer less, they'd be taught about God if they wanted to learn, and so live a "more blessed" life. Surely Magus55 would agree to that?
Magus55, have you ever taken medication, had surgery, followed a healthy diet or abstained from life threatening behaviour?
If so, why? Surely you're eager to rush off to the eternal joy and love that's waiting for you. I know that I'm pretty keen for you to get there.
Or... and this will rock your pink and fluffy world... We could, yo' know, DO something about it. Fix this world, for there is nothing after it. 150 billions dollars to provide clean water and sanitation for the whole world. Too much? 700 billions were spent for the Iraq war. Think about it.
I thought being Christian meant you were supposed to help your fellow man, not leave them to die slowly of starvation and become naught but food for bugs and vultures.
Thankfully, Magus55 isn't as fundie as he used to be. Wonder if he regrets sticking this quote on the net.
What are you saying? Is your belief somehow diminishing the suffering of starving children today?
Let's find ways to reduce their suffering here on Earth, and make them well-fed and healthy here on Earth. After all, this is the only life we KNOW we are going to have, let's make it a good life for everyone. M'kay?
It's just that so often you find atheists doing something to help the children NOW, such as discovering new medications, donating money to charity so that people can have clean drinking water and get educations, voting for politicians who will do things like pass legislation so that everyone can have affordable access to healthcare...and then you see the Christians praying for the children, and putting their money into the collection plate so that the Sunday school class can take a bus trip to the boardwalk to witness to the heathens. I suppose you can see where I am going with this.

The VSO, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, George Clooney, Bob Geldof and many other Atheists would like a word with you, Magus55.
...oh, and I notice no fundies helped in the Smallpox Eradication Program of 1950-80. Because then they'd be helping to prove that a 'God' doesn't exist by science beating God at his own game, amirite?
You lot are going to be screaming blue fucking murder when a vaccine to cure HIV/AIDS is found.
See you on that plane to Haiti, Magus55.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
