The Bible says that children born to non-belivers are "unclean" but if that child has at least one believing parent, the child is holy. (1 Cor 7:14) I don't know if that has ramifications for the child in terms of heaven or hell, but it does give me reason to consider the dire consequences of non-believing parents. But then again, Christ did die for all of us. Furthermore, how do you know what a child or baby thinks? How can any of us say for certain if a baby (or embryo) has a relationship with CHrist?

1 Corinthians is talking about the Jewish concept of "clean" and "unclean" (see Leviticus). People who are "unclean" (women during their periods, people who touch a dead body or a pig, people who eat road kill, etc.) are banned from entering the temple until they're "clean" again. It has nothing to do with heaven or hell.
Ehm. As a student of psychology, I can say with certainty that, not only do embryo's have no relationship with a deity, but they also have little thought. Myelinization of the neurons in much of the cerebral cortex (Where higher brain functions reside, i.e. thought) does not occur until after birth, and it is required for proper functioning of those neurons.
but if that child has at least one believing parent, the child is holy.
What happened to original sin and needing a savior?
I'm not sure, but I think he may have been starting to say something fairly intelligent, something along the lines of how little children are innocent regardless of the nature of the parents they are born to, as Jesus died for the sins of all men, but then he kind of vacillates between this line of thinking and whether babies have a relationship with Christ. Well, whatever, missed it by the skin of a bee's dick.

Babies don't think they eat, sleep, and poop.

Because it doesn't know anything! It's a bundle of instinct and poop making at that age! That's how I can say for certain.
Well embryos aren't sentient, I doubt they're capable of thinking "Oh man, Christ is a pretty cool guy. Eh is my Savior and doesn't afraid of anything"
I mean, you don't even learn language till like... who knows.
Embryos do not have fully functioning nervous systems, therefore they cannot have a relationship with anybody.
And I'm pretty damn sure babies don't have a relationship with any imaginary friends, considering that they can't even comprehend the fact that something still exists when it's not immediately present and visible until they are almost a year old, or later.

Of my three kids, two of them burst out with pustules and weeping sores when they set foot in a church. Clears up as soon as we join a gay pride parade.
The third one shines with a pearly light inside the church. Prety sure that one has a relationship with Christ. not sure what i did wrong...
Confused?
