Well, I have little to no respect for anyone who voted for Obama, which includes one good friend and several co-workers. I'm keeping it civil with the co-workers, but I'm very disappointed in my friend (who has really back-slidden in many ways) and I'm finding it hard to want to get together with her.
I think this election really drew a line between many relationships. I believe it was/is a massive spiritual battle between good and evil. McCain wasn't my first pick for prez, but he is a conservative and he would have been better than what we got.

This was only a battle between good and evil in your deluded mind. The only reason you saw it as good versus evil is because you truly do not understand what real evil is, and you have a complete misunderstanding of Obama and the Democrats. They're not anti-Christian, devil worshiping baby killers. If that's what you believe then you've been lied to.
Republican does not equal conservative anymore. What about America is conservative nowadays? There are wasteful wars, bloated bureaucracies, and tons of pork spending. Republicans have only made it worse these past eight years. McCain was not going to be any better.
hahahahahahahaha
You lost bad, asshat.

She doesn't even have to say the conditional part of this statement to show that she really doesn't have respect for anyone else (including herself) regardless of the qualifier attached.

Well, that's her opinion but I think the majority would agree that it was a contest between political rivals first and foremost. The fact that she clouds a "simple" election with the good/evil battle shows she's not willing to put aside partisian politics to work with the other side towards mutually-beneficial solutions.

Finally she slams the winner indirectly so she's demonstrating a childish, sore-loser attitude too.
Let's see.... One candidate and his equally mean-spirited running mate spread such hateful, vicious lies about their opponent that said opponent received death threats, has already been the target of two assassination plots, and is still in danger, according to the US Secret Service, specifically because of those lies. The other candidate, um, didn't do that. Actually she's right about the "battle between good and evil", she just got it backward. The good one won, for a change.

McCain is about as conservative as a crackhead on payday.
He backed most, if not all, of Bush's policies none of which you could call conservative seeing as how he presided over the largest expansion of government since FDR.
Don't start that 'No True Conservative' bullshit here. Dubya is yours, you filthy Cons, and so is McSame. What you're really dealing with here is the denial that Conservatism has utterly failed as an ideology.
It's probably best for the people she cuts ties with. Let her have her little fucking "Wah Wah Wah...". Maybe her friends and co-workers who went with their own choice will have a chance to back up and see what a delusional, self centered, self righteous asshole she is and be glad for the severed ties.
I have little respect for people who approve of the wars in the Middle East, think Bush is a good guy, and venerate the Jews like they're the perfect race.
Though, I think Obama isn't a good choice for America, at least most of his voters aren't fucking stupid and can see that Bush ruined America.
