Quote# 52143

Don Dollar, the administrative assistant at City Hall, said bitterly that anyone not upset with Mr. Obama’s victory should seek religious forgiveness.

“This is a community that’s supposed to be filled with a bunch of Christian folks,” he said. “If they’re not disappointed, they need to be at the altar.”

Fuckwits, religion is bullshit. I can't believe that after so many years, people still are allowing themselves to be brainwashed into believing this crap, and letting it sway them politically and morally. Ugh.

There is no God party. Anyone that thinks Republicans are more moral and/or "Christianly" in their actions than any other party apparently haven't been paying attention to politics ever.

Mr. Dollar, god's will be done. Are not your flock mere vessels to do the bidding of your sky daddy? Ever consider that it is you that needs forgiveness? Read your bible and pay attention to the bits about king David. You might learn something.

And, if they're presenting themselves as a government official, they need to STFU about their political and religious views.

I am getting far too much satisfaction from seeing these people act like pouty children, deprived of their wittle treats and lashing at anyone with the audacity to have wollipops when they can't. It's too bad that you can actually get children to stop having temper tantrums. These guys...not so much. I guess you've got to laugh now that these brats have finally had a little of their unearned power removed from them. Even more impotent than usual.

Has Don Dollar ever heard of humility? Last time I checked, it was a Christian virtue. "Blessed are they who know that they are right, for God himself will not be able to persuade them otherwise". I'm sure that's in the Bible somewhere, just give me a second ....

Romans 13:1-7, bitch. (I have a feeling I'm going to have lots of opportunities to say that.)

Don Dollar needs to lose his job if he's preaching that shit to people coming to City Hall to do business with the government there.

Y'know, Mr. Dollar, God's will is not always the same as you will.

1. I'm not a Christian.
2. I'm not a Christian.
3. I wouldn't have been terribly upset if Sen. McCain became President-Elect.

"Religious forgiveness"? Forgiveness for following a religion? Or forgiveness from a religion? Which religion? Caisaa forgives me when I make a blunder. "They need to be at the altar". Which altar of which religion? Will there be some sort of animal sacrifice at this altar? Maybe a nude lady lying on top of it? I'll go to that one, please.

Considering that Obama is a Christian, I'm not sure how this is supposed to work.

Whiney fart aren't you Don? Just cause you're from a redneck southern state(so am I) and claim to be religious does NOT give you the right to presume to speak for GOD you arrogant asshole. The last time I checked in my Bible God was still spelled G-O-D not G-O-P.

hmmm, two fun facts, a majority of this nation is Christian, and a majority voted for Obama, I think that most Christians saw past your little hate speech and voted for the right man

11/12/2008 8:47:02 PM

So you "heard" that Obama was Muslim "over and over", but you still haven't bothered to look into it and find out if it's actually true, have you?

I can't wait to see what these nitwits will come up with when they see Obama take his oath of office on a Bible. New crazy theories of cover-ups and "Oh, did you hear, it was really a Quran!" will abound, no doubt.
