[Commenting on a video noting the hypocrisy of Californians passing a ban on gay marriage and a measure to protect Chickens in slaughter houses.]
Chickens should have more rights than any Gay person because you have a choice and chickens dont. The people voted so suck it up!!

What choice is it you are hinting at?
Show me how real it is by choosing to be gay for a while, will ya?
Please leave my globe.
Please.

Funny, isn't it, how this argument only seems to apply to stances on various issues with which the arguer happens to agree?
Where are you "Democracy Uber Alles" folks when there's a majority vote to allow same-sex marriage, or marijuana uasage, or legalize euthanasia, or elect a black man as President (not to mention the pretty large majority of U.S. residents who would rather see abortion remain legal, regardless of their own personal feelings about it)? HMMM??
Oh, that's right. When it goes in favor of something you your gawd happens to hate, it's never "the will of the people" that's responsible, but those "godless liberal activist judges", isn't it?
He almost seems to grasp the concept of consent (gays do, chickens don't), which in itself is unusual for a fundie, but then he misses it again (we should regulate the way chickens are treated and keep our noses out of gays' business).

I hope that you are following your own damn advice on that one, because this site is testament to how many of your homophobic brethren are unable to follow your commands.
That being said, I don't think that they should be forced to "suck it up", considering that it is a blatant injustice. But, yeah...
If these people chose to be gay, you'd think they want to go to hell. I can assure you right now and for many years past and to come, they are already in hell. I doubt that living in heaven with people like you would be that enjoyable anyway. Oh, and by the way, va te faire foutre.
The majority is not always right. Case in point: Emperor Nero persecuting the Christians, the Nazi regime, the Red Scare, et cetera.

What choice would that be, then?
[The people voted so suck it up!!]
I see. So you're OK with the states that do allow gay marriage, then?
"Chickens should have more rights than any Gay person because you have a choice and chickens dont."
Ah, non-sequiturs. I can't believe it's not logical!
@anonymous : That only applies if "right to marriage" is considered a basic right. It never has been considered one in the US.
I would be in favor of allowing same-sex marriage because I don't see any reason not to allow it, but I don't agree with that justification, because I really don't think marriage is a basic human right on the level of free speech, freedom of religion, etc.
This... doesn't even make any sense. And what about the gay chickens??
Honestly, I didn't think that people would give a shit about chickens at all. So I was surprised, and glad, that the legislation passed. Then I was surprsied and saddened that prop 8 passed...
The people did vote. I'm not for revoking the will of the people, but I can try to show them how stupid is is to vote to take away rights, and hope that they realize their error next time the opportunity comes around.
I think marriage is a civil right, not a universal human right. Marriage isn't as important as freedom from slavery and all that awesome jazz.
But as a civil right it should be granted to everyone who lives under a government whose interest is in giving everyone the same rights as everybody else.

Well, they're worthy of more rights than you, seeing as how being an ultra-conservative bigot is in fact a choice. Sexual orientation on the other hand isn't. Do some research. ACTUAL research, not fundie research.
rolling should try really, really, really hard to be gay and accepting...wait, can't change human nature. Sorry!
Confused?
