Quote# 52177

Las Vegas is not the only “sin city” in the United States. Salem worships the Devil. It is shameful that any city in America would honor witchcraft. Shame on Salem's citizens who tolerate such evil. Witchcraft is a vile sin, which brings the judgment of God (Galatians 5:19-21). Every born-again Christian living in Salem, Massachusetts ought to continually expose this horrible wickedness. Witchcraft is far from being a mere novelty. In fact, Salem has it's own infamous “official witch,” Laurie Cabot...

We ought to obey the Laws set forth in the Word of God. Exodus 22:18 plainly states, “Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.” The Bible mandates the death penalty upon all genuine witches, just as the Bible pronounces death for all abortionists, adulterers, murders and homosexuals. Get mad at God if you don't like it, because He said it. Salem, Massachusetts is in serious trouble with God for legalizing, encouraging, sponsoring and honoring witchcraft.

Witchcraft should be punishable by law. No one has the freedom to undermine the very basis upon which freedom is established—FAITH IN THE GOD OF THE BIBLE.

Do these people honestly not realize that Wiccans live in places other than Salem, MA?

Some of us live in Salem, OR, for example. ;P

@Alex: Wicca is a legally recognized religion. Just because you don't believe it's real magic, doesn't mean there aren't real Witches.

Since there are no witches, it stands to reason that there are no "genuine" witches that need killing. End of story.

My understanding that 'witch' in the bible was a mistranslation of the word 'poisoner'.

Regardless, we don't have to live by what the bible says, so it doesn't matter if it is anti-witch. Cos guess what, it's irrelevant what the bible says!

And God didn't write the bible.

Witchcraft should be punishable by law. No one has the freedom to undermine the very basis upon which freedom is established—FAITH IN THE GOD OF THE BIBLE.

"Congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of religion, or to prohibit the free exercise thereof."

Either deal with it or find yourself another country to live in. The purpose of the US constitution is to protect the minority from the tyranny of the majority.

a mind far far away

If this man speaks like this when he's not on the interwebs, then I'm pretty sure he'll be shot soon, probably in the nuts. Hopefully sooner than later, because I've ran out of things to say about him, much less be able to read what he posts without my brain bleeding out of my eyes.

@a mind far far away- I doubt the person holding the gun would aim for the crotch.

Are we sure there isn't some deserted island, far away from any civilization, that we could move these wackos to? I think they'd like their own little country/archipelago.

David, unfortunately for you, witches today are a lot more aggressive than they used to be.

Salem does call itself "The Witch city" and it lures tourists on that name, especially on Halloween, as you can imagine. Tourists' dollars flow in from that, although some locals wish it would sell itself on something that didn't cost the lives of many innocent women. Things like the Peobody Essex Museum, which is still on my "to do" list. BTW, if you come here and don't want to sound like a tourist, it's PEE-b'dee, never pee-BODY.

I thought witches mostly lived in California now, at least according to the TV. The ones I've seen are mostly pretty hot, too.
