"I can't imagine how you can believe we came from monkeys."
Neither can I. Now, apes on the other hand...
"doesn't it just make more sense to just say we adapted?"
That is, at its most basic, what is being said you nit.
"Just because we changed our environment doesn't mean we automativally can mutate ourselves and just "evolve.""
Actually, it does. It's called natural selection. However, we didn't "mutate ourselves". Why do you people insist it's some sort of conscious effort?
"When people get mutetions, they suffer from various illnesses."
Are blue eyes or blond hair "illnesses"? What exactly do you think causes such a thing if not mutations?
You, like everyone else, have around 150 mutations that you're carrying around. Most are completely harmless.
"Can you name me ONE mutation that is positive? Just one. That's all I'm asking for. You can't, simply because there is none."
In humans? Resistance to HIV or other diseases. Sickle Cell Anemia, while it does kill a good portion of people, is a beneficial mutation to those who have it and happen to live in an area where it's highly probable they'll contract malaria.
"We are made in the image of God, our heavenly father, so when genes in our body changes it goes from good to something bad."
Evidence, please.
No, your Wholly Babble is not evidence so don't even try that.
"How can you explain how things so complex such as the eye can just have "evolved"? you can't."
It's quite well understood how the eye evolved. Darwin, whom you're likely parroting a half-remembered quote mine of, actually spent the next nine or so pages (depending on which edition you happen to read) explaining just how an eye could have evolved. And he wasn't far off.
"The fact is, evolution takes faith."
Science doesn't deal with "faith". You either have evidence to back up your assertions or you're rightfully laughed at.
If you continue to do such idiocies they eventually revoke your white lab coat and kick you out on your ass. Most people then quickly begin writing pseudoscience trash and publishing it to sell to the uneducated masses. I hear it's quite lucrative, unfortunately.
"How you can believe in something that is so absurd with no evidence is beyond me."
How you can insinuate there is no evidence is absurd and entirely beyond belief.
"Do you realize the probability of us getting here by "chance" is so miniscule that it takes more faith for you to believe in evolution than it takes to believe in unicorns."
Chance, and its cousin "luck", had nothing to do with it. A series of fairly simple biochemical steps were taken which, to anyone with any knowledge of the subject, would appear to have been inevitable given the components of the early Earth.
"Genetics? Of course we share similar genes with animals, WE CAME FROM THE SAME GOD! duh! dumb athiests..."
Which explains what, exactly? You'd think if we're gods "special creation", or some such nonsense, that we'd be entirely unique. It appears though, that we're not. We look, for all intents and purposes, like modified primates. Why would your god go and reuse a template from a lower life form on the pinnacle of his creation?
