I guess what's troubling me is that there are so few of us who fully understand what's transpiring right now . Why aren't there more Christians who have been prompted by the Holy Spirit to see what's being fulfilled? This is puzzling to me.

The sad irony of this is: these people are so focused on some otherwordly mystical world to which they'll allegedly emigrate after death, that they wouldn't fully understand what's transpiring right here and now, if it jumped up and bit their noses off.
Me, I'd rather focus on the idea of life before death, regardless of whether there are any gods or not.

Modern psychiatry, common sense, etc...

They've been saying this since about 70 AD. Let's see - this is maybe the 1,000th prediction of impending Rapture?

Because -- and this might come as a shock to you -- you're a fucking nutball, you need medications and serious psychiatric treatment, preferably inpatient.
Because termoil in the Middle East and other parts of the world, cataclysmic storms, Earthquakes, tidal waves , crop failure, changing social norms and economic strife have ALWAYS been occuring as far back as history looks.
You Rapturites are trained to ignore history and world events to the point where many of you continually harp that these are the worst of times (Ignoring the great Depression, a few world wars and such)and everything nowadays is unprecedented, the better to keep you in this full-on state of fear.
The Earth over the last thousands of year in reality? Business as usual. Fulfilled prophecy? Non-existant. Ignoring the past at our own peril and thereby repeating it? Business as usual.
Confused?
