I think you'll find that children born in wedlock and children born out of wedlock have the same statistics regarding birth defects.

No, it's because most of us aren't fluent in Arabic and therefore we have very sparse access to their ramblings. The high volume of Christian quotes on this site is merely a natural consequence of the site being in English and Christianity being by far the domninant religion in the English-speaking world.

My friend Billy ((Who has severe autism)) has an older brother named Jay with very severe Down's Syndrome. Both Billy and Jay were born while their parents were married and their father is a devout ((Albeit rational)) Protestant.
Then that same father ditched Billy and Jay's mom for a younger woman, had a son out of wedlock who ended up NOT having any defects. Explain that.
And they wonder why I'm paranoid about people finding out that I'm a bastard. It's because of people like this commenter that I guard myself day and night. Because I'm dead certain if any random Joe or Jane found out about my bastardy, they would spurn me and try to get me kicked out and killed.
The sad thing is I'm fairly certain this is the attitude most people hold towards people born out of wedlock. Ask a person what they think of them, and I guarantee they'd say they don't deserve life.
