"Technology is nothing more than an attempt to make our lives easier (a distraction from work) and all science (save the medical field) is nothing more than an attempt to explain what God has done (a distraction from just saying 'thank you' and going on with your worship)."
So sayeth Angryl who - instead of hand-writing, then personally delivering notes (not making her life easier by using a car/bus/train/plane, but instead walking) to all the people who she thinks is interested in hearing such; even if said people are hundreds, nay, thousands of miles away - simply makes her life easier by switching on her computer*, booting up the OS**, opens her web browser*** and types away.
An act that - in itself - is a distraction from just saying 'thank you' and going on with your worship.
So, no hypocrisy there, nosiree. [/Doug Piranha levels of sarcasm]
*- That computer of yours, Angryl. It's development was mainly down to the work - making your life easier in the future - of the Atheist & homosexual Alan Turing. His work at Bletchley Park in WWII not only contributed greatly to the Allies' success, but ensured 600,000 US troops' lives were saved, by his developments that decrypted the Nazis' Enigma transmissions, shortening the war in Europe. One of whom was probably your grandfather...!
**- Windows? Bill Gates: an Atheist. OSX? Steve Jobs: an Atheist. Linux? Linus Torvalds: an Atheist. You do the maths.
***- You have Sir Tim Berners-Lee to thank for making the internet user-friendly, via his invention HTML. He's a Unitarian Universalist, the diametric opposite of you right-wing Fundamentalist Christians.
