There is only one right kind of sexuality and that is heterosexuality, all others are sexual deviant, immoral and abominations in the eyes of God.
- So you say. But an honest reading of the Bible would not necessarily prove this. So you cherry-pick to suit your prejudice.
Pedophilia and homophilia are simply two sides of the same immoral coin.
- It would probably be closer to the truth to say that Paedophilia and Heterophilia are simply two sides of the same coin. Granted there are homosexuals who are paedophiles, but the figures seem to indicate that there are more heterosexual men engaged in paedophilia than gay men or women in general.
The only difference is the object of their shameful lust, the target of a homophile's shameful lust is a member of the same sex, while the target of a pedophile's shameful lust is a child, both are contrary to God's divine plan for human sexuality.
- The great difference is based on the ground of consent. A child cannot consent, therefore there is a question of abuse involved. Adults can, and do consent. There is therefore no question of rape unless that consent is lacking. And all the emotional terms that you use are as nothing in the face of this simple statement.
- As to god's plans, what do you know of the mind of god? The Bible? Read it honestly and you might have understanding. But I don't think that honesty has a chance in the lurid light of your clear prejudice.
Homphiles suffer because of their immorality, not because of people who oppose homophilia.
