This is how Evolutionist start their fairy tales..."Once upon a time billions and billions and trillions of years ago"....and we all fell for it. The fact is this earth is a young earth and the bible indicates how old it is. but evolutionist reject the true age of the earth because then they might see the designer that made the first human being....Then theres the fossils they keep finding which indicates a world wide flood recorded in the bible which some refuse to consider.

"Then theres the fossils they keep finding which indicates a world wide flood recorded in the bible which some refuse to consider."
A-fudgeh-bwuh? How does that prove it? They tend to be found under ground!

Trillions of years ago? No, that's HP Lovecraft. The Big Bang was "only" ~13.7 billion years ago.

11/20/2008 10:15:45 PM

a mind far far away

Blind as a fucking bat award. Or This is your intelligence on fundyism award. Either way, this is one of the dumbest things I've seen. For the sake of looking even more like an idiot, Bonigee, quote sources and prove your viewpoint. Oh wait, the bible is the only 'proof' you have. Nevermind.

11/20/2008 10:19:16 PM

Mister Spak

There is a complete lack of evidence for a world wide flood which fundies refuse to consider.

Wait a minute, When they accept the fossils it's only when looking for proof of the flood? The fossils, found in layers of a geographical timeline that disproves such a thing? That's his evidence? Something that is against it?

11/20/2008 11:05:18 PM

Devonian

Geologists know what a fucking flood looks like, and there's no evidence for a global flood.

11/20/2008 11:22:47 PM

Old Viking

There is no evidence whatsoever for a universal flood. None.

11/20/2008 11:31:38 PM

Reverend Jeremiah

umm..they dont refuse to consider..in fact MANY honest fundamentalist christian scientists tried to fit the fossils into a biblical time frame and could not do it(to their dismay)

P.S. What is an evolutionist? Do you mean a biologist?

11/20/2008 11:37:44 PM

"Trillions of years ago?" You don't even know what you're railing against.

Are you lying, or just an idiot?

11/20/2008 11:47:24 PM

fairy tales... talking snake, mudman, rib woman, living in the belly of a whale, all animals aboard one ark, extremely high speed 'micro evolution'... and the list goes on.

"trillions of years"

The universe is 13.7 +/- 0.1 billion years old, shit-for-brains.

billions and billions and trillions

LOL WUT! When did trillions come after billions?

If everyone treated everything written in books as true, there'd be no holocaust, magic would be real and fuck, I can't even imagine the shit that would be going with all these gods.

A biblical literalist, accusing mainstream biology of "fairy tales"?

Too easy....

This is how Creationist start their fairy tales..."Once upon a time about 6000 years ago"....and the gullible all fell for it. The fact is this earth is an old earth and the bible indicates fuckall about how old it is. but creationist reject the true age of the earth because then they might see reality....then theres the fossils science keeps finding that completely shatters the idea of the world wide flood recorded in the bible which some refuse to accept."

Fixed!

"The fact is this earth is a young earth and the bible indicates how old it is."

Yeah? Where? Give me the verse that shows how old the Earth is.

"but evolutionist reject the true age of the earth because then they might see the designer that made the first human being...."

Nice non sequiter.

"Then theres the fossils they keep finding which indicates a world wide flood recorded in the bible which some refuse to consider."

Floods do not sort by era you jackass. Once again, find me a fluffy bunny in the Pre-Cambrian and I'll consider the possibility of your flood. Until then, shut the fuck up.

Scientists aren't politicians. They really don't care what the hoi-polloi (Hovind, Ham, Comfort, Robertson, et al.) believe.

On the other hand, I don't think any divine judge will give brownie points to someone who spent their life killing their native intelligence.

This is how Evolutionist start their fairy tales.

Oh bugger, not this shite again.

..."Once upon a time billions and billions and trillions of years ago"....

Except that the widely accepted age of the earth is about 4.6 billion and the universe a mere 13 or so billion. I'd hardly consider that "billions and billions" much less trillions

and we all fell for it

No, you chose to reject reality in favour of mythology.

The fact is this earth is a young earth

In a cosmological sense yes, but not in mesures of time as they apply to human life. If the earth were as young as you claim then why does it exhibit all the signs and apperences of having been here for a few billion years?

the bible indicates how old it is.

I've read the bible quite a few times and I have yet to see where it is in the bible that gives any indication of the age of the earth, chapter and verse please.

but evolutionist reject the true age of the earth

Evolutionary theory does not speak on the age of the earth, that's geology.

because then they might see the designer that made the first human being...

What does a designer or lack thereof have to do with the age of the earth?

Then theres the fossils they keep finding which indicates a world wide flood recorded in the bible

Like what? please name them, where they were found, by whom, and cite any papers that were published that would indicte that these fossils were the result of a world wide flood?

which some refuse to consider.

They don't refuse to consider it. There is absolutely no evidence the the flood of noah actually took place, not a single scrap that points to a worldwide flood that took place 4000 or so years ago. There are entire civilizations across the world that lived and prospered before, during, and after the time this flood supposedly happened, and they didn't seem to notice that they had been wiped out.
