I don't know who you're talking about, but Hitler himself was descended from Jews and that didn't keep him from offing them. This is a ridiculous statement, but I've seen people deny that the holocaust happened at all, so it doesn't really surprise me.
Yep. Jews, gypsies, homosexuals, political opponents, Russian prisoners of war, Slavs and others were part of a long list of targets. Your estimate of the number of homosexuals in the German armed forces is hilarious.

Yes some of the upper Nazi ranks were homosexual (or bisexual at least). However, they were in the closet and above the law. I guess as long as they didn't hit on Hitler except to kiss his ass, they weren't going to get touched.
Now lets discuss how many of the rabid Christian leaders have been caught in compromising situations, yet you idiots still follow them blindly.

Anecdotal myth. Provide me with one verse in the bible with any or no evidence within or outside of it validating the idea of the rapture. Isn't it amazing that only recently was the word "rapture" included in the christian vocabulary and bible dictionaries? Yet over the past 13 years, a whole corpus of fundamentalists, and even the noncrazy christians, have retrofitted the idea as scriptural fact. Forget the fact that nowhere in the bible does it say bodies will be disappearing at such time.
Even if Hitler was homosexual, which is rather unlikely, his persecuting other homosexuals would be fairly consistent with being in denial about it; though I'm no psychologist, I gather it's a way of blaming one's confusion and venting one's self-loathing on others.
There are plenty of other instances of such behaviour; we've had several on FSTDT over the years, sometimes quite prominent public figures too. Wasn't some American politician, known for crusading against homosexuality, caught smoking a pole in a restroom just last year?

That movie came out in 1983. Which, last time I checked, was 25 years ago -- not 15.
For those who don't know: There's a book out there that investigates evidence that Hitler was gay. A lot of people think the evidence is good but not conclusive. Actually, it seems to me that when the author said 'gay' he meant bisexual, since Hitler did like women.

It's pseudohistorical bullshit. Just like some people say that Nazis were not right-wing, but left-wing, since they called themselves "socialists".
In some ways it's understandable: The Nazis are -- rightfully so -- the absolute worst of the worst, so right-wingers do not want to be associated with them, but want to associate the people they hate with the Nazis.
The rest of the world was not particularly accepting of Homosexuals then either. It was still illegal in many places. THAT is why they were not mentioned much at the time.

BTW, Hitler was straight. Himmler was allegedly homosexual, or I have head allegations of this, anyways, and did the Nazis even HAVE 2 million troops? And...ah...you might wanna do some research on where we got the pink triangle symbol from. We didn't come up with that one on our own...

Before the rise of Hitler to government, he had basically a private army, the SA (Brownshirts). The leader of this group was Ernst Rohm, and yes he was a homosexual. Hitler then created the SS (Blackshirts) as his personal bodyguard. Gradually the strength of the SS became a challenge to that of the SA and power struggles were rife. Considering the leadership of the SA a perversion of the Aryan race, Hitler seized the leaders of the SA during the 'Night of the Long Knives', along with other actions, such as the seizing of the Reichstag (German parliament).
The SS created falsified dossiers on the leaders of the SA to justify their actions. He had Rohm and approximately 90 other SA leaders and adversaries executed.
Hitler killed Rohm precisely BECAUSE he was a homosexual, dipshit.

Fact: gay men were despised and hated. Even in the camps they were treated worse than Jews. They were tortured and used, sexually tortured and abused (by the big butch STRAIGHT guards and prisoners). We were airbrushed out of history so that only the "worthy" groups, specifically the Jews, were comemmorated. FUCK, even recently, and a Holocaust Memorial Day, Stephen Fry (a great British "treasure") wittered about his Jewish ancestry but didn't mention the fact that he's a queer, ashamed or what?!
There was enough suffering to go around, rather than just mourning it for the groups you think deserve it.
