But cherrypicking is the only way to avoid cognitive dissonance when reading incoherent, self-contradictory religious texts.

Christians can choose to not follow the laws of the Old Testament
Here's a cherry he forgot to pick: "For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled."

Islam is not a faith alone religion, but also a religion of deeds.
- We have seen some deeds done in the name of Islam. Need I say more? Mass murder of innocents in the name of any god is repulsive. In religious terms it is sin.
- Moreover, the later Qur'anic texts that are held to supercede the milder earlier texts in relation to other Peoples of the Book, must pose a question of choice. This in itself is cherrypicking.

Still, some of your "actions" are pretty repulsive.

"Islam is not a faith alone religion, but also a religion of deeds."
I'm guessing the word "deeds" comes from the same word-root as "decapitations", then.

No wonder cherries are so expensive, if you aren't allowed to pick 'em. Ohh a different kind of cherrypicking.. damn..

There's actually a point here. What the author fails to mention, however, is that JihadWatch summations on Islam are not the work of JihadWatch's Admin - they are direct quotes from Muslims, in many cases leading Muslim jurists and clerics.
Sorry, folks, but Islam is NOT a religion of peace.

"Islam is not a faith alone religion, but also a religion of deeds"
Deeds like flying planes into buildings with the hope of murdering thousands of innocent people? THOSE kinds of deeds?

"Cherrypicking is not allowed in Islam"
...but it is in right-wing Funda
mentalist Christianity*. Yeah:
Explains a great deal. Now, what was that 6th Commandment say...? Oh yes, that's right.
You lot cherrypick from that too.
Moral: Ah, the hyper-hypocrisy of the fundie - both Christian and Islamist.
It knows no bounds.
