We were originally one "race," and then we as a species branched out from Africa to across the globe, and developed "racial" traits to help survive: pale skin for Europeans, for example.

The Tower of Babel was actually the Ziggurat in Babylon. And yest. It was destroyed, but by a conquering army. Not was the earth of one language at the time.

American is now getting on to be a separate language from modern Standard English. The English I speak is not that of England. Welsh and Scottish English are also different. And American English of today would be incomprehensible to the Founding Fathers. So... it changes. And it can also be restored. Latin is about to make a come-back in many quarters thanks to a Papal intervention. Hebrew came back after more than 2000 years as the language of Israel.. No Divine or even Papal intervention needed.

There's already signs of genetic mutation-based illnesses appearing within the Amish. And they're all WHITE. That's what happens when there's no outside influence to strengthen the gene pool (especially a small community like them, compared to larger towns, where there's the almost guaranteed chance of outsiders adding to such). It's called inbreeding. Whilst it's not the Amish's fault (after all, who'd want to voluntarily join them?), in the next several generations the mutations will become such that they'll ultimately die out because of genetic dilution, to say nothing of sterility, and aesthetics in general (would you have sex with someone looking like the Elephant Man?!).
