This world has become so full of contradictions. If a group of homosexuals were at a park and Christians surrounded them, cursed them, blew whistles in their ears, and assualted them, the Christians would of been arrested for hate crimes.

Yeah. Because it IS A FUCKING HATE CRIME, no matter who does it!

If a group of homosexuals did the same thing, they would be arrested for hate crimes.

If a group of atheists did the same thing, they would be arrested for hate crimes.

If a group of animal-rights activists did the same thing, they would be arrested for hate crimes.

If a group of homeschooling activists did the same thing, they would be arrested for hate crimes.

If a group of Democrats did the same thing, they would be arrested for hate crimes.

If a group of Republicans did the same thing, they would be arrested for hate crimes.

Attacking people based on race, creed, religion, orientation, gender, etc. is a hate crime, no matter who does it. If it had been anyone else doing this, they would have gotten arrested too.

Although this quote was originally submitted a couple of years ago, I would like to point out that recently in DC-- and video footage of this can be found at many liberal blogs and news-sites-- an elderly Muslim man praying alone in front of the White House, minding his own business, was all but shredded limb from limb by various factions of venom-spewing rabid flag-waving American fundies, who had gathered together not very peaceably in godly fellowship to demonstrate the majesty and appeal of christian love to filthy infidels. They threw crosses at his feet, shouting and screaming, suggesting that he return to his native country (um, the U.S.) and beat his wife.

There you go, "my father's eyes." ARE YOU FUCKING HAPPY NOW!? No more contradictions! They were NOT arrested, but rather glorified in the eyes of sick shit-heads like you.

I can't believe that adults actually think and behave like this.

A similar incident occured around the same time last month at an Orange County, CA muslim women and children's shelter. I couldn't even get halfway through the entire segment, also filmed, but I bet "my father's eyes" would, as our British friends say, "fop himself to death over it." (Did I get that right?)

The unabashed gall of some people on this earth to simply exist is a spit in the face to most fundies.

The context would help, here -- it would make this more clearly a case of fundies lying than just random WTFery.

Basically, a group of heterosexual-supremacists started walking around the Castro district screaming hate and gloating about the then-recent passage of Proposition h8. A number of angry residents surrounded them -- the police formed a circle around the fundies to act as a buffer. As soon as the whole incident passed, the fundies started screaming to anyone who would listen about how they'd been physically and sexually assaulted, pushed and shoved, etc. while they, of course, were simply gathering peacefully and quietly. Unfortunately for the fundies, the whole thing was on tape, which exposed their slander rather effectively.

So yeah, this isn't just random batshittery -- it's part of a deliberate campaign of libel carried out by fundies and promoted by people like "posty".
