The homosexual jackboot crowd continues its relentless march across American culture and men like the founder of eHarmony are only too willing to knuckle under and conform to their terrorist demands.

So being sued into compliance legally is now giving into terrorist demands? While I think that he should be able to run his shitty organization however he wants, it was either allow homosexuals on his website or not have a website. As he would probably enjoy his source of income, the choice is fairly obvious.
Also, I'd like to see a homosexual jackboot. I want to sex one.
I think what upsets these people is that heterosexuals plus a lot of Christians support the Gay community and their fight for equal rights. Tis scary to them. I'm hetero but I'm also Pagan so I'm demonic and therefore I don't count in whatever fundie census they do.
All their(fundies) protests are built upon biblical scripture so I don't think they should have a say in civil unions.
I'm agreeing with some other commenters that the eHarmony case is a little absurd, but the princple of the thing is solid.
Btw, the "homosexual jackboot" is, instead of black leather, hot pink patent leather.
I agree with Ken R. I want to see one too
DAMN THOSE LIBERALS AND THEIR TERRORISM!
IF THEY JUST AGREED WITH US THEN WE WOULDN'T HAVE BOMBED THEIR BORTION CLINICS OR BEATEN THAT SHEPARD KID!
Seriously if you call giving equal rights terrorism then the founding fathers, Abraham Lincoln and Martin Luther King JR. are all bigger terrorists then Al Qaeda.
Edit: Accidentally typed "fondling" fathers, but that's the priests.
Homosexual jackboots? Say no more, homosexual jackboots! Say no more, know what I mean, eh, eh?
If there's a bar in your town called the Eagle, or any other bar flying a black, blue, and white flag with a heart in the canton, you can see the homosexual jackboot crowd in action.
And all this time, I thought it was the economically expedient thing to do. By denying gay customers, they were neglecting an entire source of revenue. Or do you think companies only think about making their fundie members happy?
RE: "What is a jackboot?"
1. a sturdy leather boot reaching up over the knee, worn esp. by soldiers.
Usually refers to the boots worn by Hitler's troops.
I’m of mixed feelings on the notion that private companies should be able to discriminate against whoever they want, because then what happens when stores want to start putting up signs on their doors that say "no Christians" or "no jews?" If private companies can do that to gays, they should also be able to do that to ANY other group.
Regardless, though, anti-gay people will use ANY excuse to paint gays as horrible monsters, even the most extremely minor shit. They will grasp at straws just to make it seem like gays are all horrible foaming-at-the-mouth beasts. A gay person who so much as stands up for themselves or their dignity is somehow forcing the bigots into accepting them.
But as soon as someone points out a vile act committed by a christian, they'll just say they're not a "true" christian and therefore don't count.
I mean, at least I can admit there are gay people who do stupid/shitty things, but christians can never admit that one of their own might just do something stupid/shitty. They always just seperate themselves from them and say they're not really christians.
@Headache:
Um, dating sites keyed to specific ethnicities exist. Should they all be forced to integrate? Should dating sites dedicated to specific religions make accommodations for those not of that religion? Should goth and geek dating sites yank themselves close enough to the mainstream that any given person would want to join? It kind of destroys the point. People use focused dating sites because they feel specific qualities are very important and don't feel the need to bother with those without them. Black sites, white sites, Muslim sites, vampire sites, whatever. Or do you think ever dating site should be the same?

Please, the Gay have more style than wearing Jackboots. Maybe some sort of loafer or a chino...
Also they would ride in something classy... Like a pink tank... The first one was immortalised here and you see a woman bending over to lay flowers in memory of all the idiots it crushed...
What are you afraid of? It's not as if they're gonna use those jackboots to kick down your door and savagely buttsecks you.
And anyway, leathermen with biker caps & jackboots look so faaaaabulous!
To everyone disagreeing with the eHarmony issue. Replace gay with black and see if you still disagree, will ya?
I agree completely. Not to mention that eHarmony agreed to settle out of court. There was no ruling - eHarmony decided it was cheaper to set up a separate-but-equal dating site for homosexuals than to fight a court battle that they would probably win.
@Xemnas
Screw eHarmony. Electronic dating and that compatibility BS will never surpass finding and dating people in person. Besides, not everyone would waste that much time on the Internet.
The entire point of internet dating is that you cut out the retarded song and dance of the bar scene which to be fair is extremely shallow and very reliant on poor decisions. In some cases a lot of women are either shy, or a lot of men have poor self esteem and so are unwilling to even try dating women they meet in bars. It actually makes sense to just "talk to someone online" then arrange a DATE in real life. To see how it goes. We have this bizzare notion of love that "somehow our eyes will meet" and there will be this connection. It's very rare. Almost never happens where you find two people who are similar by SHEER luck. You may as well play the database game where you can see how people are depending on what they do.
"To everyone disagreeing with the eHarmony issue. Replace gay with black and see if you still disagree, will ya?"
Sadly, most of them probably still would. Does the "jackboots" crack count as a Godwin?
"To everyone disagreeing with the eHarmony issue. Replace gay with black and see if you still disagree, will ya? "
Headache, I can't speak for the rest of the people here who disagree. On my own, however, I do disagree that a private organization should be forced to allow people they don't want to participate to participate. I may not like that they don't want gays (or blacks, or whatever) to participate, but it is their right as a private organization.
I think that if homosexuals were terrorists, the Westboro Baptist Church would've been blown up by now.
Since they haven't, I'm calling bullshit.
Confused?
