The only thing I hate worse than VIOLENT, FLAMING homosexual behaviour is that our votes don't count!

Oh yeah? Well, two can play at this game...
I like to spread peanut butter on my feet because my window overlooks the post office.
Your move, Wick.
LOL. So because your guy didn't get in, it automattically means they didn't count your votes? Face it, dickweed, you lost. No one wants to have anymore of that shit.
Seriously? That's the two worst things in the world as far as you're concerned? People having sex and the vague chance that a vote might get overturned if it turns out to have been unconstitutional?
Grow up and start caring about the things that are actually wrong with the world. There's this book called the Bible (Google it if you've never heard of it) and it talks about a chap called Jesus who suggests looking after the poor and needy and so on. Might be worth considering?
I've just read the rest of the thread. Apparently the prop 8 thing was voted for by 52% of people. Hardly a landslide - statistically, hardly even a win.
Surely the obvious thing to do then is ban gay marriage for 52% of the population. As long as no more than 48% of people want to marry someone of the same sex, everyone should be happy.
I should be President. But then the fundies would only whinge because my birth certificate was photoshopped to make it look like I was American.
Yes, we must decide all gay issues democratically. For instance, when the people of New Jersey, acting through their democratically elected legislature, enact a gay-rights law, then the Boy Scouts should just -- oops, bad example. Moreover, in the District of Columbia -- drat, another bad example.
okay, so slightly off-topic ish, my favourite quote from that thread is:
"I just watched it...I TIVO it and watch it after my kids go to bed as they don't need to watch or listen to a show like Dr. Phil. I thought I was going to be sick when I was watching it. I feel like it was set up to make the "Yes" on Prop 8 side look like bigots and idiots. It is absolutely disgusting how they twist everything to make it appear like something it is not"
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
So, "VIOLENT, FLAMING homosexual behaviour" bothers you more than murder, genocide and child rape? Nice.
Would it be more acceptable with more violence and fewer flames? Perhap more flames and less violence? Or, does it really have to have both violence and flames in equal measures?
If you're talking about the presidential election, your votes were counted and they came up short. Tough toenails.
If you're talking about Prop. 8, the majority cannot deny civil rights to any minority. That's just blatant discrimination.
As for the violent flamers, put on asbestos underwear and get over yourself.
This is probably a reference to Proposition 8's return to the California Supreme Court. They don't understand that you can't vote someone's civil rights away.
My personal preference is for VIOLENT, FLAMING heterosexual behavior, but it's becoming apparent to me that few people share my enthusiasm.
Ken R. - In the infamous words of one Homer J. Simpson, "I like my beer cold, my TV loud, and my homosexuals FLAMING"
:p
Actually, this was in regards to Prop 8 possibly being overturned by the courts (which I view as unlikely). And your votes DO count, it's just that it's bullshit that because of 2% of the population a good chunk of people can't get married.
Violent Flaming Homosexual Behaviour
Noun: (vi-o-len-t flay-ming ho-mo-sex-ual be-have-ur) American: Violent Flaming Homosexual Behavior.
-Pouting, vase throwing, and tantrum throwing which eases into a defensive justified anger display at a protest followed by snarky quips exchanged with friends over a fine cheeses platter.
Causes: burnt quiche, weight gain, exposure to the religious right, being stuck in traffic in a smoke free cab, the spilling of espresso on a Pink Flamingos poster that was autographed by Divine, empty wet bars, a visit from a breeder sibling and their snobby mate with their rude grubby monkey children in tow, destruction of unused Gypsy tickets, having said Gypsy tickets replaced with passes to the next RNC event.
Violent, flaming homosexuals? Yeah, I don't think I'd like violent people who go on rampages of arson, either.
Too bad that's not what you meant, you ignorant fuckbin.
Maybe you should have checked your law proposition against the Constitution BEFORE voting it in?
I've never seen any violent, flaming homosexual behavior. Maybe people who are already a part of society and have (almost) the same rights as heterosexuals don't need to act out as much as people who need to fight for their right to exist at all.
Confused?
