Does Australia have freedom of religion? is it right in the first fucking amendment like our constitution or does this moron has some excuse since its way in the back where he'll never read it?
The freedom of religion is almost the only right explicitly guarunteed by the piece of shit we laughingly call our consistution.
Bluntly put, a look at the Cronulla Riots will tell you - Islam is a large and growing threat to Australia and its relaxed way of life.
Wheras a blunt look at Australian history will show you that religious beliefs taken directly from the Bible have already destroyed entire cultures. Should we also evict all Christians?

Hey I'm a coward on the left and I'm not particularly against provisions stalling the spread of Islam. I don't know about forcing people to eat pork or blowing up places selling halal food, but Islam is just dangerous enough that force may be necessary to deal with it. I don't see that as unreasonable and I don't think people have the "freedom" to believe a bunch of shit that's inherently anti-freedom.
Islam is a hypothetic danger, and it's proponants an oppressed minority, wheras Christians have been a severe danger to Australians and Australian civilisation since they first landed here 200 years ago. Why are we talking about using force to prevent a powerless minority that may or may not hold views that are 'inherently anti-freedom' from committing the same acts that the powerful majority that expouses more extreme versions of the same thing has actually carried out? Ridiculous.
Even if Muslims did pose a greater threat to Australian freedoms than Christians, we do not have the right to discriminate on the basis of religion. To do so would destroy the freedoms we supposedly intend to support. That is why I oppose deportation of Australia's Chrsitans because of the actions of a minority of their members, and that is why I oppose preventing entry by Muslims because of the actions of an even greater minority of their members.
Finally, Muslims are NOT A RACE, but a RELIGION. This does not belong on RSTDT for that reason alone.
We should be honest. This obseesion with hypothetical future threats by evil muslims in the night is not based on logic and reason. It is informed by the fact that Muslims are stereotypically of Middle-Eastern or Asian decent as opposed to more white Christians.
Please name one (just one will do) Muslim country which permits other religions to practice freely, without harassment from the authorities, arrest, the death sentence (yes, the death sentence is legal in Saudi Arabia for the crime of being a Jew or Christian) or "spontaneous" mob violence, as per Bosnia (where Muslims aren't even a majority, but a plurality), in which Serb Orthodox churches are defaced and vandalised, along with Roman Catholic places of worship, and the Muslim governmetn turns a blind eye to the crisis.
The Ottoman Empire was the most tolerant nation on Earth during the start of the Spanish Inquisition. That is why the Jews fled there after the Spanish kicked them out of Spain.
Modern times leave a paucity of examples, largely because countries that are as undemocratic as Iran's and Saudi Arabias try to hige this through the unique social control of religion. The economic rut facing these countries isn't helping religious fundamentalism's opponents either.
