[in response to hearing about eHarmony.com's agreeing to start a matchmaking affiliate that would allow gays and lesbians as part of an out-of-court settlement for a 2005 lawsuit claiming they were violating New Jersey’s Law Against Discrimination]

How long until gay sex becomes mandatory as part of some "empathy" program? I give it 100 years.

Yes, just like civil rights for blacks led to tanning being made mandatory.

Ha! I wish.

Seriously though, rather than go to all the trouble of filing a lawsuit, why not just start their own, exclusive gay/lesbian dating website? Only losers go on those things anyway.

@Mortok

Pfft, you meet people easily, good for you. Some of us are a bit shy, especially when 'Hey, I don't suppose you're gay?' is involved.

And... Miller Lite out the nose.

The stupidity has ceased to be sad/scary and has just become funny. Maybe because I see these fuckfaces as a smaller and smaller minority every day.

Shit, there are people who think the earth is flat. Why not people who believe in the 'GHEY AGENDER!!!!'

100 years? Well, I guess that wont really be our problem.

Sorry, Tina, didn't mean to offend. Next time, I shall think twice before I mock the patrons of dating websites.

Another thing: Why wouldn't eharmony already have a gay and lesbian search option? I mean, it's sound business sense to have your product appeal to the widest demographic possible. And it would only take a couple more lines of coding to sort out.

Darth would have been even more concerned in the 20s when women got the vote.

You're fantasizing about being forced to have gay sex, is more like it. As long as your mind doesn't face reality, it will keep releasing lots of nice endorphins. Ahhh..

Mortok: eHarmony's owned by Christians, IIRC.

You are too dumb to use the word Darth or Executor in your name.

Well, at least he gave it 100 years. That's pretty reasonable. That's almost like 2% of the Earth's total time in existence to these people.

A hundred years, hm? Well, I'll be almost 120 if I'm still alive - hopefully, though, I'll still be able to get with some hot lesbian lovin'!

I dunno. Probably at least as long as it'll take for heterosexual sex to do so.

@Mortok: I met my partner online. Granted I was only looking for friends at the time, since I was new to the city, but hey, its working out thus far.

Granted, while the e-harmony thing did kind of bother me for being heterosexually excusive, at the same time... Its their right to cater to any demographic that they want (and is legal).

Although, mandatory gay sex would be awesome... for some of us. Haha.

Uh oh. Somebody doesn't approve of the butt sex. Please, take that up with straight couples as well.

As for the "rapist" remark...do you know what homosexuality actually is, or do you think that Darth Executor's prophecy is already in the progress?

You know, I hadn't realized there was a lawsuit, but eHarmony would have probably had to do same-sex matching eventually anyway, just for business reasons -- it got them so much bad publicity compared to the amount of advertising they've done that it would be foolish not to.
