Unbelief is the parent of all sin because you were not created by God just to be a good person but to love him just like he loves you. If you don't believe in God, you don't respect God, therefore, you're insulting him. That's like saying your real mother is not your real mother.. you're insulting your mother.

Without Faith or Belief, there's no God. That's why unbelief is the parent of all sins.

There are words...in English, and in the right order, but they still make no sense. Now, I'll tell you straight, I don't insult your god in secret or with subtlety. I insult him outright and clearly. Your god is a fucking douche who acts like a child, is a bloodthirsty butt pirate, and is about as worthy of worship as the piles of shit my dog leaves in the back yard. I have no faith, there's no need for faith in the real world. Reality, truth, logic, reason, and intelligence. I don't need some sky fairy or a book his followers wrote to be a good person with morals. I don't need the threat of eternal punishment in order to be good. Fairy tales are for children, adults need to leave BS like that behind. And "sin" is something your religious ancestors invented to keep people in line in your death cult. It's not real. Do yourself a favor, if you're not going to join the real world, go jump off a cliff.

You do realize that most theistic arguments involve lose-lose scenarios like this all the time? It's like that for a reason, y'know. I could at least get a paternity test if I didn't think my mom was the real deal, but it doesn't seem like your gawd is too allowing for that, is he?

I hate these arguments. I really do. "You don't understand, and the only way you can prove you do is by blindly following along" doesn't quite constitute a very strong basis for conversion, even for some of the slower ones out there. This is basically empirical evidence for what I said before the edit!

But what if you were better off raised by someone else..... say, your grandmother? IRL, I was raised by my grandmother, and had/have a MUCH better life than if I were raised by my birth mother. I had to go into my ancestry. Same with religion. I was a Christian in my youth, and the Christian god was, for a time, sort of a 'father' figure. But, when I became an adult, I started studying various Pagan religions, digging into my past. Then I found the Kemetic Path. At first, like my grandmother, Isis and Osiris were like loving grandparents who spoiled me rotten. However, as we grew closer, They (again, like my grandma) became more like my spiritual 'parents'. When I was in the wrong I was given a nudge in the right direction. And like parents, they protect me, even when I do something stupid. The only difference between my real mother and the Christian god is that while she didn't raise me, she is my mother, the Christian god is NOT my god (and hopefully won't be ever, as hateful as he is)

DNA analysis would prove me wrong; and at least I would admit, nay, be glad I was proven wrong. Seems an Atheist like me has the cojones to admit when I'm wrong, unlike some 'people' I could mention. My mother exists, thus even she - my real creator - is one up on, and therefore is superior to, your 'God'. Oh, and 'If.' [/Spartan Laconic Wit]
