1- If that were the case, why did the C-of-E embrace Darwin's paradigm shift-creating [/irony] theories, nay, his "On the Origin of Species" - which sold more than the Bible at the time - with open arms?

...why did said C-of-E's head, Queen Elizabeth II authorise for issue our £10 note, with Darwin's image on the back of such? And as her image appears on all our currency, she has final power of veto on any potential design shown to her by the Royal Mint. She is a devout Christian herself.
